Yarn amounts are approximate. Make sure to purchase
enough of the same dye lot in order to complete your
project.
SOCKS
Make 2 alike.
With dpns and Orchidee (Himmelblau), cast on 44/48/48
sts for cuff. Arrange sts evenly on 4 needles = 11/12/12 sts
per needle. Place beg of rnd marker and join for working in
rnds. Beg of rnd is between first and 4th needle. Work rib
patt in rnds for 3 cm. Break Orchidee (Himmelblau), cont
with Luca Color (Marco Color) and in rib patt until piece
meas 13/24/24 cm from cast-on. Boomerang heel: Follow
instructions under “Sock Knitting Techniques”. Leaving sts
on 2nd and 3rd needle on hold, work across sts on first
and 4th needle, back and forth in rows in St st and with
Orchidee (Himmelblau). Foot: With Luca Color (Marco
Color) work St st in rnds across sts on all 4 needles until
foot meas 11.5/12.5/14 cm in length. Break Luca Color
(Marco Color), cont with Orchidee (Himmelblau). Banded
toe: Follow instructions under “Sock Knitting Techniques”.
Carefully weave in all ends.
