healthy working environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Happy
HEYTEA will not be satisfied with the being known for having the best cheese tea. He/she
should keep pursuing the best tea brands by expanding regions where they get raw ingredients.
Also, he/she will strive to have new ways of making new different tea brands.
Starting and growing any business takes so much work, effort, and dedication. However,
staying in business is another a different story altogether. HEYTEA is a business with several
outlets in different cities. It has managed to stay in business for more than five years now. With a
competitive and difficult market today, HEYTEA needs to have effective controls in place to be
able to achieve sustainable success. Most importantly, controls will help HEYTEA ensure that
HEYTEA is a business that highly values the quality of services it offers to its customers.
Therefore, employing different controls like concurrent, preventive, and feedback controls would
help the business achieve massive success (Sharma, n.d.). With concurrent controls in place,
HEYTEA will be in a position to monitor its employee activities, thus ensuring stability in
quality standards. These controls ensure that duties or tasks produce desired results. The
feedback controls will allow HEYTEA to review the information to determine if its performance
levels are meeting the set standards. For instance, if HEYTEA wants to increase its profits by 10
percent next year, the business needs to monitor the profits it gets every month. If after two
months the gains will have increased by two percent, then the management can consider the
plans to be working as they should. HEYTEA can employ preventive controls in order to

Preventive controls will mainly focus on material, human as well as financial resources within
the business. These controls will mostly be applicable when HEYTEA is selecting and hiring
new employees. The business has to select and shire employees who possess the necessary skills
that are required in the job. HEYTEA management should use tests as well as other screening
techniques to hire employees with the kind of skills they need. Since HEYTEA is popularly
known for its cheese tea, it needs to hire an employee who is familiar with the business and with
