ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We would like to Acknowledge and give our warmest thanks to our Supervisor, Michael R.

Velasquez, who made this work possible. His guidance and advise carried us through all the

stages of our Research Paper. We would also like to thank our Committee members for letting

our defense be an enjoyable moment, and for your brilliant comments and suggestions, thanks to

you. Salute to all the members of our Research team for their efforts and valuable suggestions,

Our thanks and appreciations also go to our respondents who willingly help with their full

cooperation which has made the research study achieved it's smooth completion last but not the

least to our dearest parents for their deep consideration for the finances and undying support

throughout the making of the research study

The researcher, Marcelino, would like to express her unending gratitude of her partner,

Clarence, for being her biggest inspiration to keep going and his undying support of her.

DEDICATION

This study is wholeheartedly dedicated to our beloved parents. Who have been our source of

inspiration and gave us strength when we thought of giving up, who continually provide their

moral, spiritual, emotional, and financial support. To our brothers, sisters, relatives, mentor,

friends, and classmate who shared their words of advice and encouragement to finish this study.

And lastly, we dedicated this book to the Almighty God, thank you for the guidance, strength.

Power of mind. Protection and skills and for giving us a healthy life. All of these. We offer to you.

Last but not the least, a researcher in this group, Marcelino, would like to state that this research

is also dedicated to her star-crossed lover, who cheered and inspired her to finish the research

than no one else could. She puts her whole heart and strength in this paper as the group’s

animator, and survey conductor.

CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

In this research, the researchers have to study about the effectiveness and the

satisfactory level of an educational animation. This may be the case if it is effective to

learn anything new, or not. However, this research is a study of, again as said, the

satisfactory level.

Theoretical Framework

The researchers’ theory is that most of the time that the animation video will

affect few or half of the students would find the animation video effective on their

learning.

Conceptual Framework

Statement of the Problem

In this problem, currently the questions are “how”, “why” and “what”

Significance of the Study

This research aims to seek the feedback of the respondents based on the comparison of it’s

respondents. This will benefit the following people like:

For Students:Their knowledge and skills are expanded about short animation video

wherein they can learn lessons and techniques about short animation videos. This also
5

refreshes the mind of the students depending the situation of the short animation that they

can relate to.

For Teachers : They can replicate and learn short animation videos that they can use to
their teaching skills for the students. They can use this as an advantage for their teaching
techniques that will be useful for also the students who will have more interests in
learning and be more active hence making the teaching knowledge useful.

For Future Researchers: May they find this research study more educative and learn the
results of it. Somehow they will make use of this research study as an example of
measurement of the study.

Scope and Delimitation

The scope of our study is for comparing the pre and post videos based on the respondents

that they have watched.

The study is delimited only for Grade 12 students of Lucrecia R. Kasilag Senior High

School. The main purpose of our study is to be followed by recommendations and

feedbacks of the respondents on which if the animation is bette

Definition of Terms

Animation - Animation can be either a computerized, or non-computerized film that

can be shown by multiple people. It can also be collaborated or made by a single person

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND STUDIES

In this chapter presents the literature and studies on how the researchers understand so far

what would be the matter of their satisfaction of animation.

Review of Related Literature

According to Ali Krakas, as a consequence of the rapid development in science, technology

and media, foreign/second language teaching field has gained much improvement in the recent

years. Especially, the function of language classes has changed dramatically. Their potential to

provide comprehensible input, which, according to Krashen (1982), leads to ‘subconscious

language acquisition’, has increased a lot with the provision of such technical devices as TV,

LCD projector, laptop, DVD player and video materials into the classrooms. In there is the case

that a student would make fun of the animation because of irrelevancy, not educational and most

likely bad quality of animation.

Review of Related Studies

I. The Quality
This has become a common problem for most animators. It can be a bad quality or a

good quality. For them, this needs some improvement in case of something like this. It

can lead them to the bad reviews such as 5.6 and below.

II. The Motion frames

7

Lucrecia R. Kasilag Senior High School

For the motion frames, this can also be a common problem as well. Some can do 3

frames per scene while the maximum is around 15 or 25 frames per scene. It also can be

resulted as motion errors, delayed frames, and visible joints.

THE POSITIVE OF THE STUDY

According to Chelsea Liu and Philip Elms(2019), In the modern age of education,

students increasingly demand in engagingly customized animation. An animation

constitutes in both visual and auditory

THE NEGATIVE OF THE STUDY

In the review by Wu, Y & Chen, MB, Wu, T, Yu XB, and Li C. There are negative abuse

on watching an educational animation video such as cartoons.
