SUBJECT:
Measure Against 0113/ 0213 Jams
GENERAL:
This Technical Publication describes the permanent countermeasure against 0113/0213 jam codes.
DETAILS:
Symptom:
0113/ 0213 jam codes may occur during normal machine operation.
0113 Jam: Outer delivery sensor delay jam
0213 Jam: Outer delivery sensor stationary jam
Cause:
The current Bushings [4] used in the Delivery Reverse Drive Unit [2] at the Delivery Reverse Drive
Assembly [1] are made of powdered metal. They are also used in the Reverse Paper Delivery Assembly [3].
The Sliding Level of the current Bushings [4] may deteriorate during normal operation. As a result, the
Motor of the Delivery Reverse Drive Assembly [1] is put under an excessive load. This may cause 0113/
0213 jams to occur.
