attentive to class instruction and directions. She has been able to keep pace with the class and
complete her bookwork with less guidance than before. She is showing an understanding and
ability to use the new grammar – Present Continuous Tense. She is raising her hand with more
confidence. She is still learning to apply her phonics skills to her reading, but needs to keep
trying to improve. Her spelling results are still needing work. Keep listening carefully and trying
your best

instruction, and will volunteer his participation in class activities or discussions. He has shown a
good ability and understanding of the grammar we are currently covering – Present continuous
Tense and uses it correctly in his written and spoken work. I love listening to his reading
homework. He has great listening and reading comprehension. He does well on his unit and spelling
tests. Good work! 

and as a result is more confident when participating in class activities. She is showing a good
understanding of the new grammar Present Continuous Tense, but must remember to use the BeV
correctly. She is getting better test results. I have seen improved reading fluency as she uses
her growing phonics skills to approach new or difficult words. I enjoy listening to her recording
homework. Just keep trying! Good job! 
