    REFLECTION

    What I’ve learned last discussion is the comparison of direct and indirect instruction as I
    observe the methods have two different purposes. The direct model is best suited to the
    teaching of facts, rules, and action while the indirect model is suited for teaching of
    concepts, patterns and abstraction. Also, I’ve learned the different approaches and
    methods which are teaching, approach, strategy, method and technique. Furthermore I
    learned the examples of teaching approaches a teacher is perceived to be the only
    reliable source of information in contrast to the learner, because the teacher is a
    facilitator of the learner.
