1. Export all the stock items from company made in the previous question
in xml format with their closing balances converted as opening balance
 Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > List of Accounts
 Click I: Stock Items or press Ctrl+I

 The List of Stock Items is displayed. Press Spacebar to select each Item, and click E:

3. Import the Stock items using the xml file generated in step-1
 Go to Gateway of Tally > Import of Data > Masters
 Fill in the Import of Data screen as shown below

To view thw imported Stock Items, go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Info. > Stock Items >

4. Take a backup of Test Company -1 at the following location: “D:\Backup”

 Go to Gateway of Tally > Company Info. > Backup

5. Pass a Sales transaction for the following items selecting cash ledger in
place of party
