 Using a SWAT Chart explain the impacts of tourism development and evaluate the
benefits and disadvantages of management strategy by looking into its strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and threats
 Make a prediction with the help of analysis made
 Master communication skill by using a SWAT chart
Task detail:
Individual Task
Each Student selects a tourist destination after conducting in-depth research.
Use relevant evidence to explain the impacts of tourism development on the
country/area.
Construct a SWAT Chart
Present their conclusion in around 300 words to justify if tourism development is
beneficial to the country/area.
At last, describe an adopted local/national management strategy and evaluate if it can
help the tourism development in the long-term.
