“A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND

MANAGEMENT, THRU SECRETARY AMENAH F. PANGANDAMAN, TO FUND THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF THE 700-METER ROAD IN ZONE II, BARANGAY TULAY,
JOLO, SULU IN THE AMOUNT OF TWENTY MILLION PESOS (P20,000,000.00)”

WHEREAS, the 700-meter road in Zone 2, Barangay Tulay, Jolo, Sulu is damaged and needs
reconstruction.

WHEREAS, the 700-meter road was repaired by the Municipal Government in 2019.

WHEREAS, the concrete of the 700-meter road in Zone 2, Barangay Tulay, Jolo, Sulu is always
saturated in flood or rain water because it lacks a drainage system.

WHEREAS, the 700-meter concrete road in Zone 2, Barangay Tulay, Jolo, Sulu not only poses
a traffic hazard but is also an immediate health problem that needs to be addressed.

WHEREAS, the residents of Zone 2 are more prone to health concerns like skin diseases,
cholera and Leptospirosis.

NOW THEREFORE, upon the motion of Kagawad Hja. Ailyn A. Baid, Committee Chair on
Health and Sanitation, duly seconded by Kagawad Nadzmil Anuddin, it was resolved as it is
hereby resolved to request the Department Of Budget And Management thru Secretary Amenah
Pangandaman to fund the reconstruction of the 700-meter road in Zone II, Barangay Tulay, Jolo,
Sulu in the amoubt of Twenty Million Pesos (P20,000,000.00)

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Department of

Budget and Management for appropriate action of this request.
