A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING HONORABLE AIMEE S. TORREFRANCA-NERI, UNDERSECRETARY

FOR OPERATIONS OF DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT (DSWD) OF BATASAN
COMPLEX, QUEZON CITY, A FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AMOUNTING ONE MILLION PESOS ONLY
(₱1,000,000.00) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BARANGAY MULTI-PURPOSE HALL OF BARANGAY LOS
MARTIRES, DAGAMI, LEYTE.

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Los Martires deems it necessary to have a proper and
accommodating multi-purpose hall as a priority project of the barangay;

WHEREAS, this barangay has insufficient fund to finish instantaneously this kind of projects;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Nomelito B. Nielo, Committee on Infrastructure and duly seconded by
all the Sangguniang Barangay members present be it;

RESOLVE AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to earnestly requesting Hon. Aimee S. Torrefranca-Neri,

Undersecretary for Operations of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) of Batasan
Complex, Quezon City, a financial assistance amounting one million pesos only (₱1,000,000.00) for the
construction of barangay multi-purpose hall of barangay Los Martires, Dagami, Leyte.

FINALLY RESOLVED, that the copies of this resolution be furnished to Hon. Usec. Aimee Torrefranca-Neri, for
Operations of DSWD Batasan Complex Quezon City for her information and favourable action.

WING 5TH FLOOR) TO ALLOCATE FUNDS AMOUNTING ONE MILLION PESOS ONLY (₱1,000,000.00) FOR THE
ROAD CONCRETING OF MUNICIPAL ROAD FROM BARANGAY LOS MARTIRES TO BARANGAY SAN ANTONIO
DISTRICT 5 POB. AS REQUESTED BY THE BARANGAY COUCNIL OF THE BARANGAY LOS MARTIRES DAGAMI,
LEYTE.

WHEREAS, this barangay surrounded by water such as Binahaan River, Schistomiasis Canal and Irrigation;

WHEREAS, this municipal road is not accessible to the constituents and student during rainy seasons due to
overflowing of river and canal, as this become muddy and hardly passable to motorize vechicles:

WHEREAS, this Barangay has insufficient fund to implement this kind of project:

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Nomelito B. Nielo, Committee on Infrastructure and duly seconded by
all the Sangguniang Barangay members present be it;

RESOLVE AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approving earnestly requesting Senator Imee R. Marcos, senate
office room 519@15 (New Wing 5 th floor) to allocate funds amounting one million pesos only (₱1,000,000.00)
for the road concreting of Municipal Road from Barangay Los Martires to Barangay San Antonio District 5
Poblacion requested by the Barangay Council of the Barangay Los Martires, Dagami, Leyte.

RESOLVE FINALLY, to forward and furnish copies of this resolution to Senator Imee R. Marcos, Senate
Office room 519@15 (New Wing5th floor) for this information and favorable action.
