Pink-Quay Parade Competition

1. The Pink-Quay Parade Competition (“the Competition) will be held on 29 July 2023 (Saturday) at
Quayside Mall, twentyfive7 Lakeside.

2. There are five (5) criteria with each of its criteria carrying respective points weightage in the
Competition as follows: -

NOTE:
- Public voting will be carried out during the Competition whereby audiences may vote for their
favourite group. The total number of votes received will be added into the group’s total points. You
may invite friends and families to witness the event and stand a chance to get as much public votes
as possible.
- Judges and public votes will be accumulated altogether and groups with the highest points will be
the winner.

3. Terms and conditions for participating the Competition: -

a) Particulars of participants must be completely filled in the registration form.
b) Registration will be closed on 16 July 2023 (Sunday) at 11.59pm.
c) Limited slots available. Notwithstanding the registration period exhibited, the registration
shall be closed upon available slots being completely filled without any prior notice given by
the Management.
d) All participating groups are required to pay RM30.00 as a registration fee to the account
stated below: -

e) The Competition is opened to the public of all age groups. (*Limited slots available – slots will be given based
on first-come, first-served basis.)
f) All participating groups are required to form a group with a minimum of ten (10) pax.
g) Each group will be given three (3) minutes to perform.
h) Indecent elements which include but not limited to nudity, sexual, violence, politics, abusive
gestures, words or actions are strictly prohibited during the Pink-Quay Parade Competition.
i) Only groups with duly completed competition entry form will be eligible to participate in the
Competition (“the Eligible Participants”). All registration forms must be completed in full and
submitted by a parent or legal guardian (only applicable to participants at the age of 18 years old and below).
j) Quayside Mall Management (“the Management”) reserves the right to disqualify entries
with invalid or incomplete details.
k) Groups with incomplete, illegible and/or any late submission of competition entry forms
shall be disqualified.
 l) All registration forms shall be retained and belong to the Management and shall be dealt
with as the Management deem fit.
m) All Eligible Participants are required to arrive at Quayside Mall, Level 2 (in front of Ying Ker
Lou) (“the venue”) on 29 July 2023 (Saturday) at 3.00pm for registration and briefing
purpose.
n) In the event the Eligible Participants are late for beyond ten (10) minutes after the
Competition starts, the Eligible Participants may be disqualified by the Management.
o) The Eligible Participants will be judged by a pre-determined panel of judges and the judges’
decision shall be final and conclusive.
p) For the avoidance of doubt, the decision made by the Management shall be final and
conclusive and shall be binding on the Eligible Participants.

4. Eligible Participants are required to dress in their own PINK costume, to provide a USB drive
should they require background music and with any supporting accessories to complement
their Pink-Quay Parade performance.

5. Eligible Participants must complete the whole parade competition at their own effort without
any assistance from a third-party.

6. Winners will be announced on the day itself at the end of the Competition.

7. Three (3) groups with the highest points will be selected as the winning team. Each group shall
be eligible for one (1) prize only.

9. All prizes presented to the winners shall be on an “as is” basis and the Management shall not be
responsible for the usability, suitability, warranty, quality and condition of the prizes. Winners
must be present during the announcement, failing which, prizes shall be awarded to the next best
winner.

10. The Management shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injuries occurred during
and after the Competition including the loss of personal items.

11. By participating in the Competition, Eligible Participants hereby permits the Management to use
all photos and videos taken throughout the Competition. Eligible Participants also hereby
authorize the Management to disclose their particulars for the purposes of the Competition and
have deemed to provide their consent pursuant to Personal Data Protection Act.

12. The Competition shall only proceed upon receiving a minimum participation of at least 5 groups.
The Management reserve the rights to reschedule or to cancel the Competition as deemed
necessary.
13. The Management reserves the right to change any rules and regulations as it deems necessary
without prior notice.
