QUIZ COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS- RULES

1. The competition will be conducted virtually on Zoom Application or any other similar
applications.
2. Participant should be a Student of ICAI from Mangaluru Branch.
3. One team shall comprise of 2 participants. One called the Applicant and the other the Team
player.
4. The team shall login through the Applicants Log in ID and both the Applicant and Team player
shall be visible through it the entire competition.
5. Participants should have a laptop or a Smart Phone to be a part of this competition as the
competition will be hosted on Zoom platform or any other similar application as mentioned in
Pt.1
6. The Competition will have two rounds viz. Preliminary round and Final round. Every team shall
participate in the preliminary round and the top five teams of the preliminary round shall
participate in the final round. First round shall be Virtual and the final round shall be done
physically at Mahendra Arcade. Preliminary round is scheduled on 01-08-2021 and the time of
the quiz will be intimated to each of the teams participating.
7. The rules regarding the conduct of the quiz, the types of the rounds, point system etc will be
announced by the Quiz Master on the day of the contest. The date and time of the Final Round
of the Quiz contest will be announced after the completion of the preliminary round.
8. The winner of the Branch Level Competition will be eligible to contest in the Regional Level
competition which is scheduled to be held during August 2021.
9. The quiz will be on general awareness.
10. Participant shall submit a google form made available in the branch website
www.mangalore-icai.org
11. Any wrong declaration given by participants in the entry form leads to disqualification
12. The Quiz Master’s judgment will be final.
13. Last date for submission of application shall be 29th July, 2021.
