TOGETHER WE STRIVE,
TOGETHER WE RISE
Preface
welcome to virtual mivg 2021
Through decades of human development and technological advancement, mankind has invented various
devices that help to bring us all together no matter the distance between us. These inventions made a huge
impact on us especially since the Covid-19 pandemic. Through these inventions, we can still conduct this
Virtual Medical Intervarsity Games and build friendships on a much bigger scale. Friendships born on the
field of athletic strife is the true gold of a game. It is UKM’s greatest honor to be selected as the host for
Medics Intervarsity Games (MIVG) 2021. This annual sport event under the Sport and Inventory of Asian
Medical Student Association (AMSA) Malaysia holds onto few aims all along these years. Building good
relationships between future healthcare workers is essential to ensure we provide the best possible
treatment for the patient. Through virtual platforms, we truly believe we as students of the healthcare field
can connect to one another, and what better way to do this than doing it through virtual sports. It is said that
sports don’t build character, they reveal it. Manners maketh man, with this in mind we hope to see
participants display a great sense of moral. We will do our best to ensure the development of interest in
sport sustains beyond this event. For us being students of the field of healthcare, need to be exemplary in
displaying proper health both physically and mentally.
