Lesson: Use compound and complex sentences to show cause and effect and problem-solution
relationship of ideas (EN5G-Iva-1.8.1)

Journal Entry No. 1

Incorporating a learner-centered teaching methodology, I skilled and motivated the

learners by using compound and complicated sentences to demonstrate the link between ideas in
cause and effect and problem-solution situations. We support grammar and critical thinking
skills by actively integrating learners in their education, according to their unique requirements,
and encouraging cooperation. As educators, we are committed to learner-centered education,
which gives students the ability to distinguish between complicated sentences and relationships,
enhancing their writing and communication abilities.

I continuously used a learner-centered teaching approach in the classroom for the first
three months of the academic year. Understanding every learner's particular requirements and
learning style has been my main priority. I have encouraged learners to openly express their
ideas and ask questions by fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, which has led to
vibrant and interesting class conversations. I have used a variety of teaching techniques, such as
group exercises and hands-on experiments, to accommodate different learning preferences.
Regular formative evaluations have enabled me to keep track of their development and modify
my teaching methods as necessary. My faith in the efficacy of a learner-centered approach has
only become stronger as a result of seeing the students' excitement and observing their
development as subject matter experts.

The development of responsible, knowledgeable, grammar-conscious, and critical

thinking skills in learners may be greatly aided by adopting a learner-centered approach to
education. Compound and complicated sentences can be used to demonstrate cause-and-
effect relationships and the link between problems and solutions. By putting learners at the
center of the educational process, we give them the power to own their learning, promoting
critical thinking and active participation. Additionally, by highlighting the necessity of
differentiating cause-and-effect activities and problem-solving scenarios, learners are given the
confidence to take the long-term effects of their learnings into account in regular communication
and debate. Their language and critical thinking abilities are improved as a result of this attitude
shift, guaranteeing that future generations will be able to uphold their own views and
convictions.
Since I've grown to value the uniqueness of every learner, I find myself continuously
changing my tactics to meet their demands. I no longer steadfastly follow a one-size-fits-all
strategy. Instead, I promote differentiation in order to make sure that each kid feels supported
and appreciated throughout their educational path. I monitor their development through frequent
evaluations and comments, and I modify my teaching strategies as necessary. My learners feel
emboldened to speak freely about their ideas and opinions because I work to create a welcoming
and inclusive learning environment. This helps to create a vibrant learning community where
respect and cooperation may flourish.

Lesson: Pagtukoy at paggamit ng pangkalahatang sanggunian sa pagtatala ng mahahalagang
impormasyon tungkol sa isang isyu. (F5EP-1d-6)

Journal Entry No. 2

Introducing the ideas of Pagtukoy and paggamit ng pangkalahatang sanggunian in the

context of teaching about mahahalagang impormasyon tungkol in an isyu has been a valuable
experience for both my learners and me. I was able to construct a dynamic learning environment
where students actively engaged with the material, honed their critical thinking abilities, and
took responsibility for their own learning by adopting a learner-centered approach. It is our
honor and duty as educators to mold the brains of the next generation. We can work together to
create a sustainable and safer future where real information is provided by arming people with
knowledge and encouraging a feeling of taking crucial information from trustworthy sources.

Throughout the learning process, I pushed learners to consider how they personally
gather crucial knowledge from trustworthy sources, both at home and at school. They were urged
to think of sustainable alternatives and pinpoint areas where they might improve. Learners
become more accountable for their behaviors by encouraging self-reflection, which is essential
for cultivating correct information.

At the outset of the lesson, I wanted to capture the attention and interest of my students
by gathering important information in books such as dictionary, almanac, encyclopedia, and
more. Instead of delivering a monotonous lecture, I began with a giving a topic that they can
search in books. This triggered curiosity among the students and encouraged them to actively
participate in discussions.

I began the lesson by gathering pertinent facts from books like dictionaries,
encyclopedias, and more in an effort to pique my learners interest and attention. I started by
presenting a topic that they could research in books rather than providing a boring talk. The
learners got excited by this and were inspired to join fully in the conversation.

In conclusion, using a learner-centered teaching strategy while teaching about

mahahalagang impormasyon tungkol in an isyu and discussing Pagtukoy and paggamit ng
pangkalahatang sanggunian was a transforming experience for both myself and my learners. I
saw the creation of good situations like confidence, responsibility, teamwork, empathy, and
motivation through respecting their opinion and enabling them to have a direct role in their
learning. Knowing that this strategy has the potential to produce a generation of responsible and
environmentally conscious people who will actively contribute to a sustainable future inspires
me as an educator to continue using it.

Lesson: Formulate the rule in finding the next term in a sequence.
(M5AL-lllf-6)

Journal Entry No. 3

Understanding patterns is a crucial ability for understanding concepts relating to

sequences. Your ability to see clearly is essential when creating a rule to determine the following

phrase in a series. This discussion paper intends to investigate the many theories and methods

for identifying trends and sequences that highlight the value of using a learner-centered

management strategy.

A learner-centered approach promotes the growth of learners' mathematical and logical

reasoning abilities. In addition to enriching the operations and patterns that may be employed in

a sequence, this variety also helps all learners improve their critical thinking abilities.

Learners get fascinated when they recognize a mathematical sequence's pattern. This

results in an intriguing learning indicator that is advantageous to both the teacher and the learner.

I steadfastly stuck to my commitment to a learner-centered teaching methodology during the

third quarter. I kept developing closer relationships with my learners by learning about their

backgrounds, interests, and demands. I was able to customize their educational experiences

thanks to my better understanding of them, which improved the course material's relevance and

interest. I have seen a great improvement in my learners understanding of the subject matter by

adding real-world applications of the topics presented. They now understand its utility and

significance in their life.

Additionally, I've promoted independent study and given learners access to more

activities in order to actively support self-directed learning. This has given learners the power to

own their education, encouraging a sense of confidence and independence in their academic
pursuits. Witnessing their growth and progress as learners has been incredibly satisfying,

reiterating the enormous significance of a learner-centered approach.

Lesson: Pagpapakita ng iba’t – ibang paraan ng pasasalamat sa Diyos.
(EsP5PD-IVe-i-15)

Journal Entry No. 4

I found myself thinking back on the transforming experience of adopting a learner-

centered teaching philosophy as the last quarter came to a conclusion. An attitude of respect for

one another and shared responsibility has been successfully established in the classroom as a

result of the consistent commitment to developing a student-centered environment. As my

learners have grown to see the importance and practicality of the subject matter, I have been able

to observe a rise in their engagement and excitement for studying.

A productive and successful learning experience depends on the interest of a learner

being adequately looked after and cared for in any learning setting. This discussion’s goal is to

determine the value of showing gratitude to Almighty God.

I have actively improved my educational practices via ongoing reflection and

modification to better meet the changing requirements of my students. This procedure has been

crucial in making sure that my pupils receive the greatest education possible. The pride I have

felt in seeing their academic success and personal development is priceless. It has reiterated my

steadfast conviction that a learner-centered strategy is necessary to provide students with the

skills they need to be independent, lifelong learners.

The adoption of a learner-centered teaching philosophy has, in the end, been a satisfying

and instructive experience. It has had an undeniably good effect on my kids' educational

experience. My kids' involvement and excitement for learning have undergone a remarkable

metamorphosis as a result of my efforts to establish an environment that values respect for others

and a sense of shared responsibility. This experience has confirmed my conviction that adopting
a learner-centered approach is not only important but also powerful since it gives students the

knowledge and outlook they need to become self-directed lifelong learners.
