Employers should provide their employees with meaningful and engaging work in order to
create a sense of strength and accomplishment that echoes across their business cultures and
their employees’ personal lives. In the context of work, an understanding of motivation can be
applied to improve employee productivity and satisfaction; help set individual and
organisational goals; put stress in perspective; and structure jobs so that they offer optimal
levels of challenge, control, variety, and collaboration.
In line with the above information, compile a detailed assignment discussing the theories of
