Volleyball
Goal: I'm going to play volleyball every week from 7-8 pm at raffles international school (Elite). I'm
going to improve from the Intermediate level to the upper Intermediate level within three months.

13 - October - 2022 01:00 today we had a very fun
tournament, instead of
just doing our normal
training we actually
played a tournament.
we obviously started out
with warm-ups first and
that took us around 15
minutes and for the rest
of the 45 minutes we
got divided into 6 teams
and we played. this was
a very fun practice class
and it also helped us
prepear for our next
tournament that is
coming up very soon

19 - October - 2022 01:00 Today, for our warm-up,
we began by running
three laps while
performing a separate
activity, and we also
sprint to the net five
times and back. Our
warm-up lasted for 20
minutes after we started
stretches. Next, in
couples, we warmed up.
Following that, we
practiced free spike,
where there are two
setters on opposite
sides of the net, and
after the setter sets the
ball, a player spikes it.
We did that for about 10
minutes before playing
a game for the final 20
minutes.
27 - October - 2022 01:00 Today, we started with
our warm-ups as usual
but this time it was a bit
different, first we ran
one lap, and then we
got into groups of 3 and
each group does a
different warm-up. for
example, there were 4
groups the first group
does sit-ups, the second
group does pushups,
the third one does
lunges and lastly, the
fourth one does hips
circle and then they
switch. then we started
warming up with a ball
and after we did free
serves and free spikes
and finally we played a
small game.

02 - November - 2022 01:00 The 20-minute warm-up
for today's program
includes several laps,
stretches, and
exercises. We split up
into three groups after
the warm-up, and we
just started passing and
spiking the ball on one
another to warm our
hands for 10 minutes.
After that, we practiced
free throws and serves
for another 15 minutes
before spending the last
15 minutes playing a
game. After practice, we
sang to our coach and
gave him some sweets
to celebrate his birthday.
08 - November - 2022 01:00 As per normal, we
began today's workout
with a 20-minute warm-
up that included some
laps, workouts, and
stretches. The topic of
today was spiking. We
split up into pairs and
began spiking each
other for ten minutes.
Then, we divided into
five-player teams, each
with three spikers and
two receivers. The
spikers hit the ball, and
the receivers had to
cooperate to catch it all.
After 20 minutes of that,
we played a game, took
attendance, and
stretched for the final 10
minutes.
15 - November - 2022 01:00 today we started with
our usual warm-up as
always, then we did an
arms warm-up with a
ball then we started a
mini tournament, we got
divided into 4 teams and
we started the
tournament. my team
lost 2 games and won 2,
we were 3rd place but it
was a nice tournament
overall.

22 - November - 2022 01:00 today we started with
warm ups as we always
do, we did few laps and
some stretches and
exercises just to warm
up our bodies, then we
started warming our
hands by getting into
groups of 4 and passing
the ball to each other.
todays focus was on
diving for the ball. the
coach explained how to
do it and gave us some
tips to help us, we got
into pairs and we
started to practice diving
while the coaches were
helping around the
player who are
struggling. then in the
last 15 minutes we
played a game and after
the game we stretched
while the coach was
taking attendance.
29 - November - 2022 01:00 today, we started with
the warm-ups we did
some running and some
exercises for 15
minutes, then we got
into groups of 5 and we
made a big circle and
started passing to each
other and warming up
our hands by spiking the
ball and receiving we
did that for solid 20
minutes and then we
got into 4 groups and
we started to play a
mini tournament for the
last 25 minutes, my
team got 3rd place but it
was so much fun and
that was if for today.

06 - December - 2022 01:00 today we started with
warm-ups, we did laps
and some exercises and
stretches for the first 20
minutes, then we got
into groups of 2 and
started warming our
hands up and spiking on
each other our main
focus today was
receiving so after
warming our hands up
for 10 minutes we got
divided into 2 groups by
our coaches and the
first group had to spike
and the other one has to
reserve and after 10
minutes we switched
then after that we made
two lines and each line
has one coach we had
the coaches spiking on
us for another 10
minutes and for the last
10 minutes we played a
game and took
attendance.
03 - January - 2023 01:00 Today for our warm-up
we started with running
5 laps in each lap we do
a different exercise
while running, for
example, running and
shuffling or running or
high knees after we
finished we started
stretching, our warm-up
was a total of 15-20
minutes. Then we got
into pairs and we
started warming up with
the ball for around 10
minutes. after that, we
started free spike where
there are two setters on
two different sides of the
net and the other
players pass the ball to
the setter and then after
the setter sets the ball
the player spikes it, we
did that for around 10
minutes then for the last
20 minutes, we played a
game.

we started with running

a different exercise
while running, we also

the net 10 times back
and forth for the warm-
up then we did some
high knees, back kicks,
and other exercises
while jogging to the net
and back, which took us
15 minutes then we
started warming up our
hands with the ball by
passing it to each other
and spiking it on the
ground and other
exercises with a partner.
40 minutes into the
practice we started to
do free spikes to
practice spiking the ball
and for the last 15
minutes we practiced
serving and then we
played a game which
was my favorite part.

our usual warm up we
did some laps around
the gym and then we
did some stretching for
the first 15 minutes then
we practiced serving
and we started playing a
small tournament we
got into groups of 4 and
we played each other,
we have two nets the
first round every two
teams played aginst
each other and the
second round the losers
played losers for 3rd
and 4th place and the
winners played winners
for first and second
place and then we had
10 minutes left we
practiced free spike and
did some stretching
while taking attendance.
31 - January - 2023 01:00 today we started with
warm-ups for 20
minutes we did some
laps and some
stretching and
exercises. then after the
warm-up, we got into
groups of three and we
started just passing the
ball on each other and
spiking it just to warm
our hands up with a ball
for 10 minutes. after
that, we did some free
spikes and serves for
another 15 minutes, and
for the last 15 minutes,
we played a game. we
also celebrated our
coach's birthday after
the practice session we
snag him a song and
gave him some cookies.

07 - February - 2023 01:00 today we focused on
serving, we started the
warm-ups as usual, we
did some laps, and we
did some stretches and
exercises for 15
minutes. then we got a
ball each and we started
serving there were two
nets so the coaches
asked the people who
are beginners to go on
one side and the
players who know how
to serve but want to
improve their serve and
practice on the other
net. I know how to serve
so I just went to the side
with the other players
that know how to serve
and we practiced
serving for 20 minutes if
you need help you could
just ask the coach and
he will help you, I aksed
the coach about how to
make my serve stronger
and gave me some tips
and now I can tell that
I'm a bit better and my
serve is definitely
stronger than before I
just need to practice
more.

14 - February - 2023 01:00 Today, for our warm-up,
we began by running
five laps. During each
lap, we performed a
new activity while
running, for example,
we would side shuffle
while doing the laps.
Once we were
completed, we began
stretching. Our warm-up
lasted for a total of 20
minutes. After that, we
split up into pairs and
began a roughly 10-
minute warm-up with
the ball. Following that,
we began free spike, in
which there are two
setters on opposite
sides of the net, and
players pass the ball to
the setter before the
setter sets it and the
player spikes it. We did
this for about 10
minutes before
beginning a game for
the last 20 minutes.
21 - February - 2023 01:00 today we started our
warm-up with two laps
then we did some hand
and leg exercises after
that we did some free
spikes and some serves
then we played a small
game at the end and
that was pretty much it
for today.
28 - February - 2023 01:00 today we started with
our warm-up we did butt
kicks, hand rotations,
shuffling and many
other warm-up
exercises then we did
some passing and
spiking then we played
a game and that's it.

07 - March - 2023 01:00 we started today with 3
laps, then we did our
usual warm up where
we warmed up our
hands and then we
focused today on
receiving, we did a lot of
it where the coaches at
the begging we spiking
at us then we got into a
groups of two a spiker
and a receiver and we
kept switching, the
coach also gave us
some tips on how to
spike better or receive
better and we ended the
class with a game
where we had to try and
do what we practiced
today and then we did
some stretching and
that was it for today.
14 - March - 2023 01:00 today we started with
our warm-ups as usual
then we did our usual
training where we did
some passing then free
spikes and also serves
and receiving and then
we ended the class with
stretching.
21 - March - 2023 01:00 today, We began our
warm-ups, as usual,
today, but this time it
was a little different.
First, we ran one lap,
and then we divided into
groups of three,
performing a different
warm-up for each
group. For instance,
there were four groups:
the first did sit-ups, the
second did push-ups,
the third did lunges, and
the fourth did hip circles
before switching.
Following a brief period
of ball-based warm-up,
we performed free
serves and free spikes
before engaging in a
brief game.

team came 3rd.
11 - April - 2023 01:00 today, we started with
few laps and our usual
warm-up exercises then
we did some passing
and today's focus was
all about setting, we got
into groups of 3 and we
kept setting for each
other in different forms
and then finally we
played a game and
summed up the practice
with some stretching.
18 - April - 2023 01:00 today we started with a
few exercises to warm
up then we did a lap
and the coaches said
that today we will be
getting help from them
at the parts where we
feel like we need to
improve in, mine was
serving. we had 5
coaches and they were
going around and
helping us, and that was
it for today.
