AN OUTREACH PROGRAM

“Sharing one’s blessing is another way of sharing how thankful and happy you are for
being blessed and a great example for kids to live life happily and to open their eyes that in
the spirit of sharing comes great and pure happiness. “ January 9, 2019 was a day full of
blessings for Coloconto Elementary School. It was because the school was chosen to be the
beneficiary of Rev. Fr. Nelson Osorio, OSJ’s feeding program. The teachers, students and
stakeholders were delighted upon the arrival of Fr. Osorio’s group.

A mass was celebrated at around 9 o’clock in the morning. Fr. Osorio had shared his
experiences about the previous feeding programs his group had sponsored in many schools
around Luzon. According to him, he was just an instrument used by God to share the
blessings from many generous sponsors. After the mass, all the students lined up to take their
food which includes spaghetti and fried chicken. Before they eat, Fr. Osorio blessed the food
and prayed for abundance and that another feeding program may be given to Coloconto
Elementary School. When the food was served, everyone was smiling while eating. Aside
from the mass offering and the feeding program, Fr. Osorio shared more blessings by
choosing some students who got to take home 2 ½ kilograms of rice. On the other hand,
teachers and parents also prepared lunch for Fr. Osorio and his group.

It was another day to be thankful for. Coloconto Elementary School will always be
grateful for those who took time and chose this school as beneficiary of their shared
blessings.
