Steps to Build an Awareness Campaign:

1. Create your group (3 ppl)


a. Think of people with similar interests &/or will actively participate
2. Choose a campaign topic
a. Choose a specific topic in relation to a community problem that calls your attention. It
may be related to your major! See the examples below.
i. EX: Animals ❌ (too broad)
ii. EX: Wildlife Abuse & Ilegal Hunting✔️(very specific)

Examples of awareness campaigns:

a. Research and describe the problem in your community that you want to help and the
possible causes:
We as university students and young people, are mostly with people similar to our age and we
realize that a large part of them consume electronic vaporizers, people are not aware of the amount
of harmful consequences that these types of vaporizers, bring since in their content there is
nicotine, extra fine particles that could enter the lungs and affect them, they have fewer harmful
substances than normal cigarettes but still pollute the environment, and people's lungs, one of the
possible causes of people to consume it may be that they are leaving the traditional cigarette or that
they have anxiety problems since nicotine.

b. Describe briefly the type of campaign you would like to carry out:
A campaign that makes clear the dangers involved in the use of electronic vapers, take advantage of
part of your free time to do yoga, exercise, a healthy life in order to cope with the addition

c. Describe the expected impact:


We hope to create an impact on people who listen and learn that there are different solutions to
manage an addiction, attending a doctor, with a therapist, exercising, leading a healthy lifestyle,

leaving it all at once and a lot the another ways.
