Activity No: 4 Title: Employing Communicative Styles in Various Situations Day: 4

Key Concept:

People are all different and being aware of our relationship with others influences the way we communicate
with them. So, to get the message across in the most effective way, the speaker's style is a factor to consider.

Direction: Choose one from the given situations below. Create a short conversation or a dialogue. Make sure to
use the featured characteristics of the appropriate communicative style in the chosen situation. Write your
answer in a separate sheet of paper.

For additional points, after writing, look for a pair (anyone from your family) and act out the chosen situation. Use
the dialogue you have written. Record a video of it. Send the video to your teacher through FB messenger or upload
it in your English class FB group or in your Goggle classroom depending on the platform used by your class.
Important note: the video must be 2 – 3 minutes only. (If the gadgets or internet connection is not available, the
written dialogue can be sufficient.)
