GOAL

How to configure iSurvey with iSupplier ?

 

SOLUTION

Introduction

In Oracle Applications it is possible to configure iSupplier to link to an Oracle iSurvey, and for the Oracle iSurvey to be
executed for a Supplier. This integration requires:

An Oracle Script.
An Oracle iSurvey linked to the Oracle Script.
iSupplier Configuration to reference the iSurvey.

Once set up the iSurvey will be available from the supplier tab from the Purchasing Responsibilities, and it will be possible to
view the results of the iSurveys from the Survey Administrator Responsibility.

1 The first step to link iSupplier

to iSurvey, is to create an (R) Scripting
Oracle Script. Administrator

(N) Home/Launch
Scripting Author

2 The script will form the basis  

of the iSurvey. Create the
script as a series of panels
and answers.  The following
document will help to create
an Oracle Script for the first
time How To Create A Simple
'Graphical' Script (Doc ID
1213989.1).

3 Once the script has been (M)Tools/Deploy

developed the script will
need to be deployed to make
the script available in iSurvey.

5 Enter in a Survey Campaign  

Name, and link to the Script
created.

6 On pressing (B) Apply the (B) Apply

screen will refresh and now
create the Deployment for
the Survey Cycle.

Add a Deployment Name,
and set the dates the survey
will be active between. Set
the Deployment Type to
Standard. Standard is used
for integration to iSupplier.

(B) Apply and (B) Activate (B) Apply
the iSurvey. Once the Survey
is activated, a link will be (B) Activate
shown to test the iSurvey.

9 To run an iSurvey from

iSupplier, we must first make
the iSurvey known to
iSupplier.
(R) Purchasing SuperUser
(N) Setup/Profile
Management
Configuration/Supplier
Onboarding Configuration

Scroll down the page, to the

Survey section.

Add the newly created
iSurvey name, and set
whether the iSurvey can be
viewed and updated by
Suppliers or Buyers or both.

be tested from any (R) Purchasing, Vision
purchasing responsibility with Operations (USA)
access to the Suppliers tab.

Query back a customer

12 Press (B)Update to open (B)Update

the update page for the
Supplier, notice the menu on
the left of the screen with
the Survey menu option.

13 Click (M)Surveys to show a (M)Surveys

list of available surveys,
these will include the newly
created survey.

iSurvey name to run the
iSurvey.

is possible to view the
recorded responses from an (N) Survey Campaigns
iSurvey.
 

Query the iSurvey and open

the required deployment.
Change from Deployment
View to Response View.

see details on the answers
given when the iSurvey was
executed.
