Opening Remarks
Harpreet: “Leadership is having a compelling vision, a comprehensive plan, relentless
implementation and talented people working together”
It is this motto that has kept the DPS fraternity moving forward as one family and it is this
value that we wish to impart to the future generations. With this firm belief, our school has
brought forward the opportunity to its students to embark upon a journey of becoming future
leaders. On that note, I, Harpreet Kaur Bhamra along with my co-host, Ria Elizabeth
Abraham welcome you to this amazing morning of the 7th Investiture Ceremony of Delhi
Public School Nadergul.
Ria: I extend my heartfelt welcome to the Chief Guest for the day to Col.Ranjit Chacko
Commanding Officer 7 (T) Girls Bn NCC; our Chairman Mr M. Komaraiah; COO of
DPS Schools and Pallavi Group of Institutions Mr Yashasvi Malka; Parents, and all the
august guests to the Investiture Ceremony 2022-2023

Prayer

Harpreet: Every morning brings us new thought, new words, new strength and endless
possibilities; To enlighten us and brighten our day, lets immerse ourselves and feel one
with the almighty as we beseech him to shower his choicest blessings on us.

Ria: I hope the prayer is resonates and echoes in our hearts and reflects in our action, as we
start this event on a spiritual note.

Introduction of the chief guests by Principal Ma'am

Ria: It is with great delight that I call upon our Principal ma’am to introduce this stellar
personality who has graced the occasion with his presence, the very distinguished and
honorable chief guest Col. Ranjit Chacko. Ma’am if you may do the honors.

Harpreet: Thankyou ma’am.

Felicitation
Harpreet: I now request our respected Chairman Sir Mr. M. Komaraiah and our COO Mr
Yashasvi Malkha to felicitate our Chief Guest.

Ria: Thank you esteemed dignitaries. We once again extend/our warm welcome to all
the esteemed guests.
 Classical Dance- Welcome

Ria: Culture is a vital part of our upbringing and who we are today. What is more beautiful
than children exhibiting our culture. Let’s give a huge round of applause to our young
talented students who are ready to depict the Indian dance form in their very own unique
way.
Harpreet: A huge round of applause for the young blooming talents who put the imaginative
concoction into action. You have indeed penned poetry with your feet.

School Flag Hoisting and

School Song

Harpreet: A school flag is the representation of the school’s ethos and is the embodiment
of the value and ethics that the school stands for. Our Green and White Flag, symbolizes
Progress and Illumination of knowledge. There is nothing quite like a feeling when you
behold the jade and white flag soaring high in the sky with the school anthem resonating
in the background.

Ria: I request our Chief Guest Col. Ranjit Chacko; along with the dignitaries to hoist the
School Flag. May I request all the students to rise up, place your right hand across the
chest and salute the alma mater as the school is played.

Musical performance

Ria: Success isn’t always about greatness. It is about consistency. Consistent hard work
leads to success and my dear students, that eventually will lead to greatness. Giving
musical rhythm to this thought, we have our school choir to entertain and motivate us
with a musical rendition.

Harpreet: “Mujhe umeed hai ki, is geet ko sunne ki baat, na hum rukhenge aur nahi
jhukenge, bas aage badthe jayenge.”

March Past

Harpreet: The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion where all the young students
are prepared to don the mantle of leadership. The 7th investiture ceremony of the school is
in itself a testimony that DPS, Nadergul has always given due importance to mould young
students to take up the leadership roles. The Student council led by the Head Boy and the
Head Girl and the four houses led by the House Captains are ready to salute their alma
mater.

Ria: We have our head boy Master Anirudh from Grade X marching forward to seek
permission from the honorable commanding officer for the march past to commence. At
the beat of each drum and with each passing step, the earth reverberates as the young
leaders march past the flag post, proudly bearing the school logo. Let the March Past
begin!

Harpreet: Leading the march past is the school student council consisting of The head
boy, The head girl, school ambassadors, sports captain, green crusaders, DPS chargers
and literary ambassadors
 This enigmatic leader are followed by the Enchanting Emeralds bearing the green flag
and led forward by the very able house captains Master Sreeram and Miss Bhuwigya
under the guidance of Mr. Ramreddy and Ms. Padmalatha.

Ria: Here comes the Ravishing Rubies bearing the motto “sparkle and spread your
splendor”. They have the fiery red fervor that radiates the flame of warmth. They
are led forward by Master Greeshmik and Miss Samya under the able direction of
Mr. Srinivas and Ms. Madhavi. 

Harpreet: The Green Crusaders are marching next led by master Arnav and Miss
Akshaya Reddy. Responsible for promoting the green cause, the crusaders are
young leaders who ensure that the school’s green cover is maintained.

Ria: The Color party is marching next, donning the colours of the national flag,
where saffron stands for bravery and SACRIFICE of the country, white
symbolizing peace and truth and green symbolizing the auspiciousness of nature.

Harpreet: Marching up next are the DPS chargers led by Master Aryan Vishnu
and Ms. P Akshaya. The chargers hold high the school’s motto ‘Service Before
Self’ as they take the school’s social responsibilities to the forefront.

Ria: The splendid sapphires- constantly on the move like a flowing river that has
the energy and zest of water., walk on next led by house captains Master Sai Teja
and G Hansini Reddy under the leadership of Mr. Mallikarjun and Mounica.

Harpreet: Marking the culmination of the eventful parade is the talented topaz,
which is greatly awed by the bright smiling sun, they wish to be like the dazzling
sun that so selflessly radiates life and light. They are led by house captains Master
Abhinav Reddy and Ms. Kovida under the supervision of Mr. Babulal and Ms.
Srilalitha.   

Ria: Dear Audience, ahead of you stand four houses - the Radiant Ruby- the
Effervescent Emerald, the Spirited Sapphire, the tantalizing Topaz.

Performance of Police
Band

Harpreet: the school is extremely honored to welcome the police band from the
crpf Central Reserve Police Force. The Band led by ------- is ready to march ahead
giving our students an insight into the armed services of the country. Their march
is a true testimony of precision, discipline, and true service to the nation. DPS
Nadergul cordially salutes the band.

Piping Ceremony
Ria: Dear gathering, you will now witness the much anticipated and much awaited moment
of the day, May the bugle sound high and the trumpet buzz in its victorious tune
(Bugle Sound).
Harpreet: This energetic tune fills all our hearts with joy as this investiture ceremony is a
moment of immense pride not only for the school but also for the parents. Now commences
the piping ceremony of the senior student council wherein they will formally take on their
responsibilities. May we now request the student council to come forward and take their
position. I request Hon’ble Chief Guest Col.Ranjit Chacko to pip the badges to the Head
Boy, Head Girl, School Ambassadors and sports captains.

I. Ria: Let me take this opportunity to introduce you to the newly elected prefectorial
board of high school:
1. Head Boy: Heading the senior student council as the Head boy is the perseverant,
empathetic and determined Master G. Anirudh.

2. Head Girl: Donning the mantle of responsibility, here is the head girl Ms Idhika . She
is versatile, spontaneous, humble and very practical.

3. School Ambassador boy- As the School Ambassador Boy we have the confident and the
vivacious Master Shlok.

4. School Ambassador girl- We have Ms. Srija , who is a smart, clear minded and creative
youngster taking up this position of the prestigious School Ambassador Girl.

III. Ria:
5. Boys sports captain: Next we have the sports captain of the school Master Soumic. he has
attended 6 national athletic meets in skating. A very deserving candidate to represents the
sports community.

6. Girls Sports Captain: Ms. Sujatha Basumatry, a lively and responsible girl takes up
the charge as Sports Captain Girl. She is an athlete by heart who takes up the challenges
with sportsman spirit.

7. IT in Charge Boy: Next we have the sportive and dynamic Master Akshinth taking up
the title of IT in charge.

8. IT in charge Girl: The logical thinker and problem solver Asmitha is taking up the role
of IT in charge girl

V. RIA:

9. Mess In Charge Boy: Next taking up the position of Mess in charge boy, we have the
Enthusiastic and efficient Master Saransh who will ensure smooth functioning hospitality
experience for all the students.

10. Mess In charge Girl: The Mess in charge girl for this academic year is the active Ms.
Hansika Rathod who monitors the mess performance and ensure the delivery of a high
standard service.

Your hard work and perseverance have paid off. Congratulations!

11. Cultural secretary boy: Next up, we have the smart and vigilant Adithya Hari taking
up the responsibilities of Cultural secretary boy.

12. Cultural secretary girl: The Cultural secretary girl is donned by Ms Sreevanika for
the year 2022-2023.

13. Green Crusader Captain Boy: The responsibility of maintaining the campus green is
taken up by the Green crusader Captain boy Master Arnav.

14. Green Crusader Captain Girl: This responsibility is equally shared by Ms. Akshaya
Reddy who is elected as the Green Crusader Captain Girl.

15. Literary Ambassador boy- The position of literary ambassador boy is taken up by the
eloquent Nithin.

16. Literary Ambassador girl- Ridhima is donning the mantle of being a literary
ambassador girl.

17. DPS Charger Captain Boy: As DPS Charger Captain Boy we have the dedicated Aryan
Vishu Rao.

18. DPS Charger Captain Girl: Aryan Vishnu Rao is partnered in the responsibilities by the
efficient Akshaya Pottapu who takes up the charge of DPS Charger Captain Girl.

VIII. HARPREET
19. Discipline captain boy- taking up the position of Discipline captain boy we have
enigmatic Kahleef.
20. Discipline captain girl- And Kaleef is partnered in responsibilities by Nidhi Nayak
taking up the position of discipline captain girl.

up the position of Sapphire house captain boy.

24. Sapphire house captain girl: Sai Teja is partnered in responsibilities by G hassini AS she
takes up the position of sapphire house captain girl.

25. Topaz House Captain Boy: Let’s give a huge round of applause to the Topaz House
Captain boy Abhinav reddy.

26. Topaz House Captain Girl: Shouldering the responsibilities along with Abhinav reddy
os Ms. Kovida as the Topaz House Captain Girl .

27. Ruby House captain boy: Leading the Ruby house we have Greeshmik taking up the
position of Ruby house captain boy.

28. Ruby house captain girl: Samia Khan Leads the Ruby house and takes the charge of the
house as the captain.

Oath Taking Ceremony

RIA : The investiture of our new student council is brought into reality with the oath-taking
ceremony. The newly elected prefects are requested to take the position and raise the right

HARPREET: Thankyou sir . The entire student council is a rainbow with multiple hues of
earnestness, perseverance and confidence. Dear student leaders, we are extremely pleased to
see you accomplishing great things. I hope you feel proud today and confident in your ability
to rise to your next challenge.

Introduction of council of Grade VII & VIII

RIA :For the student council of grades 6-8, I request the Headmistress Ms M.
Nagalaxmi along with the coordinators. Congratulating now the ambassadors from
7&8- coordinators Ms. Soma Goswami and Mr Arun Kumar.
Taking up the position of Head Boy is Master Satvik Verma and
Head girl is C.Deetya Menon. The sports captain is Master Ashwin Kashyap and The
sports Girl is Anshika Chaturvedi. The cultural secretary boy is Master V Sai
Sushanth and the responsibilities are shared by Ms. Manasvi Peddapalli as the
Cultural Secretary Girl. The IT incharge boy is Duvva Akhil and the IT In charge Girl
is Ishitha PRaveen.
Harpreet: The positions of Mess in charge is donned by Master Vidhik and Miss
Akshaya Tol. The Green Crusader Captain boy is Master G Shreekar Reddy and
Green crusader captain girl is Miss Diksha Chaudari. The literary ambassador boy is
Master Sura Sadvik Goud and Literary ambassador girl is Ms. G Sreechandana. The
DPS CHARGERS are Master M. Shreyas Reddy and Ms. Adithri. The positions of
discipline captains are shared between Master Abhishek and Ms. Anishka Modi.

RIA:Moving on to grade 6, we have coordinators Ms Shubhasini and Ms

Padmalatha congratulating the Leaders.

Taking up the position of Head Boy is Master Malavi Soni and Head girl is
Ms. Pragya Dubey. The sports captain is Master M. Revanth Prameeth and The
sports Girl is Ms. Gracy singh. The cultural secretary boy is Master Vihan Voora
and the responsibilities are shared by Ms. Disha Das as the Cultural Secretary Girl.
The literary Ambassodors of grade VI are Master .Sama harshith Reddy and Ms.
Harveen Kaur .

Harpreet: The Green Crusader Captain boy is Master Anay Batsch and Green
crusader captain girl is Miss Sragvi Reddy Likki. The DPS CHARGERS are Master
Soumith Reddy Mettu and Ms.Tisya Sourabh. The positions of discipline captains
are shared between Master R. Shreyank Bharadhwaj and Ms.Khuja Gupta.

girl is Ms. M. Anvi Reddy. The sports captain is Master G. Lavith Kumar and The
sports Girl is Ms. Kanishka Kelesh. The cultural secretary boy is Master
Shanmukha and the responsibilities are shared by Ms. Aanya Varma as the Cultural
Secretary Girl.

Ria: The Green Crusader Captain boy is Master Arjun Reddy and Green crusader
captain girl is Miss Varahi . The DPS CHARGERS are Master Chauhan Maan and
Ms.Nakshitha. The positions of discipline captains are shared between Master Athul
M and Ms.Syudhi Vaidikak Nath.

For student council grade 4, we have the coordinators Ms O. Archana and Ms Phani
to congratulate the members.

Harpreet: Taking up the position of Head Boy is Master Adhyayan Sachan and Head
girl is Ms. J Krishna Keerthana. The sports captain is MasterP Naga Pradyumna and
The sports Girl is Ms. Anvika chirra. The cultural secretary boy is Master Adhrit
Tiwari and the responsibilities are shared by Ms. SHALIKA SAI KESHIREDDY as
the Cultural Secretary Girl.

Ria: The Green Crusader Captain boy is Master Sachchit singh and Green crusader
captain girl is Miss Yandapalli Saanvi Reddy. The DPS CHARGERS are Master

Ria: DPS Nadergul believes in the fact that a person is born with the innate
characteristics of a leader and the school takes responsibility of chiseling those
skills right from the early years. Dear audience, I present to you, the youngest

Ria: It is now time to hear a great leader , A visionary whose actions have
inspired others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more- the man
who is a leader par excellence and values leadership all the more. I request the
Hon'ble Chairman, Mr. M. Komaraiah to please enlighten us with his words of
wisdom.

Harpreet: Thank you very much Sir for always inspiring us through thought-
provoking messages.

Dance grade 6
Harpreet: Life is an ebb and flow, a few highs and a few lows. Giving up
shouldn’t be an option. We have to face the challenges head on and move
forward. Bearing this thought in mind the students of grade VI are here to show
that they are fighters who are champions and you're gonna hear them roar.
Please put your hands together as they take the stage to enrapture you with their
performance.

RIA: That was a power-packed performance. Dear Students, we felt every bit of
the energy you emitted. Thank you so much!

Chief Guest speech

RIA: It is now time to hear the luminary himself. "To be inspired is great but to be
an inspiration is an honour" We are fortunate enough to have amidst us Col.Ranjit
Chacko. We consider it a great honour to welcome you Sir. May we now request
Sir to motivate us with his words of wisdom.

HARPREET: Thank you Sir for the inspirational words. On behalf of all the
students gathered over here, I promise to put your words into practice. We are
really charmed by your sharp eloquence. Thank you once again.
 HEAD Boy Speech
HARpreet: May I now call upon the newly elected HEad Boy, Master G
Anirudh to Address the gathering.

Harpreet: Zindagi mein kuch pana hoh to khud par aitbaar rakhna,
soch pakki aur kadmon mein raftaar rakhna,
kaamyabi miljayegi ek din nishchith he tumhe,
bas khud ko aage badhne k liye taiyaar rakhna.

Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their
passion.
Dance has no barriers it is something that everyone can feel, understand and definitely
something everyone can enjoy.
Now, Brace yourself for a high-octane dose of entertainment by the budding young
talents of DPS.

RIA: Wow, that was an amazing performance. Let the applauses pour in.Well done
students!!

Vote of thanks – head girl

RIA: We have now come to the end of the formal eventful day, the first of its kind
after the pandemic, bringing good tidings for the year 2022-23.
I call upon our Head Girl, Ms Idhika to deliver the Vote of Thanks.

HARPREET: Thank you Idhika.

The badges earned today by the student leaders shall remain their lifelong friends
as they continue their march ahead. With hopes and prayers in our hearts and best
wishes for the alma-mater, I Harpreet along with my co-host Ria bid you an adieu.
