22. 8 = (2 × 2 × 2)

A Number ends with zero if it is having 5 or 10 as factors.

But 8 doesn't have 5 in its prime Factorization.

So, 8 Can not end with the digit 0. By Uniqueness of Fundamental theorem of Arithmetic.

23. Let the age of Father = 𝑥 years

and, sum of ages of two Children = 𝑦 years.
ATQ, 𝑥 = 2𝑦.
After 20 years Age of father = (𝑥 + 20) year
sum of age of two children = (𝑦 + 40) years
ATQ, 𝑥 + 20 = 𝑦 + 40
𝑥 − 𝑦 = 28
Put 𝑥 = 2𝑦
∴ 2𝑦 − 𝑦 = 20
So,
𝑦 = 20
So, 𝑥 = 2 × 20
= 40
∴ Present age of Father = 40 Years.

𝑙 = 17.5 m
C.S.A. of Cone = 𝜋𝑟𝑙

28. Given:-
tan 𝜃 + sin 𝜃 = 𝑚
tan 𝜃 − sin 𝜃 = 𝑛
To prove: 𝑚 − 𝑛 = 4√𝑚𝑛

Proof:
LHS = 𝑚 − 𝑛
= (𝑚 + 𝑛)(𝑚 − 𝑛)
= (tan 𝜃 + sin 𝜃 + tan 𝜃 − sin 𝜃)(tan 𝜃 + sin 𝜃 − tan 𝜃 + sin𝜃)
= 2tan 𝜃sin 𝜃
RHS = 4√𝑚𝑛
= 4 (tan 𝜃 + sin 𝜃)(tan 𝜃 − sin 𝜃)
= 4√tan 𝜃 − sin 𝜃
=4 − sin 𝜃

= 4sin 𝜃 −1

= 4sin 𝜃

= 4sin 𝜃

= 4sin 𝜃√tan 𝜃

Hence, LHS = RHS

(b)
sec(𝐵 + 𝐶 − 𝐴) =2
Given:-
tan(𝐶 + 𝐴 − 𝐵) =

To Find: - All three angles
Solution:-
Sec(𝐵 + 𝐶 − 𝐴) = Sec 60∘
∴ 𝐵 + 𝐶 − 𝐴 = 60____________(i)
So
tan(𝐶 + 𝐴 − 𝐵) = tan 30
Also,
𝐶 + 𝐴 − 𝐵 = 30 (ii)
𝐴 + 𝐵 + 𝐶 = 180
Adding 𝑒𝑞 (i) and (ii)
2𝐶 = 90∘
𝐶 = 45∘
Putting 𝐶 in above equation
𝐴 + 𝐵 = 135
𝐵 − 𝐴 = 15
2𝐵 = 150
𝐵 = 75∘
Putting 𝐶 and 𝐵 in ahove 𝑒𝑞
𝐴 = 60∘
∴ 𝐴 = 60∘ ; 𝐵 = 75∘ and 𝐶 = 45∘
29.

Using Distance Formula

Now, 𝐴𝐵 = (−3 − 3) + (−3 − 3)
𝐴𝐵 = 36 + 36
𝐴𝐵 = 72
𝐴𝐵 = √72 = 6√2
and,
𝐵𝐶 = (3 + 3√3) + (3 − 3√3)
𝐵𝐶 = 9 + 27 + 18√3 + 9 + 27 − 18
𝐵𝐶 = 72
𝐵𝐶 = √72 = 6√2
