Sub: Remind for the reserving of the anchor bar for grating cover at draft tube
gate pit

Dear Sir,

It is observed that the anchor bar should be reserved for the grating cover oat draft tube gate pit as the
drawing No. DEC-MHP-HM-301-1/2 still hasn’t been fitted by Lot A2 Contractor before concrete.

According to the Contract, all the pre-embedded parts (anchor steel bar, steel plates and so on) should
be supplied, fitted and anchored in the primary concrete by Lot A2 contractor. The pre-embedded parts
are steel parts to be anchored in the primary concrete and not subjected to operation loads as a rule.
Obviously the anchor bar for the edge frame of grating cover belongs to the pre-embedded parts
mentioned before and it should be installed by Lot A2 Contractor.

Hence you are kindly remind Lot A2 Contractor to follow the Contract and install the anchor bar as the
requirement to avoid any delaying of the project schedule.
