Dear Sir,

As for the matter as below, please check and confirm if we should instruct Oiles to proceed with
tentative bolts instead of tentative plates. Upon confirmation, we need to instruct Oiles to revise
the drawings and get approval from NHSRCL/TCAP on that revised drawings.
Hope to receive the direction from MG ASAP to avoid giving Oiles any excuse for the production
delay and it’s actually affects Oiles production process.

Regards,
Amit / Mitsui India

Subject: RE: Removal of Temporary bolts of reciving box in Damper Stopper.

Dear Sir,

Please find attached the ref. Oiles shared. The ref. clearly explained which part NHSRCL/MG/JRE discussing about.

Function of the fixing plate is to fix box A and box B temporally.

because Box A could be floated due to viscosity material in between.
→ After confirmation, it is possible to change the spec from “temporary fixing plates” to “temporary fixing bolts” at this point
although fixing plates material already ordered. Oiles will also revise the drawings.
→ We need the written instructions from NHSRCL/MG/TCAP via emails to make change in spec and which GADs covered. Oiles
also mentioned after change, it cannot be changed again because its affect which materials to be ready and the production
process.

Temporary bolts functions are also to fix the Box A and Box B, in the Oiles drawings those are fixing parts altogether in either No. 24

(movable stopper drawing) or No. 27(fixed stopper drawing).

Would you clarify which part they are discussing about from attached photo?
2. JRE/JICC has shared the document during discussion of post installation of Damper stopper that a temporary
plate is fixed with the Temporary bolts of nomenclature sr.no 21 & 23 in the adopted drawing.
→Temporary plates is welded to Box A and B, and is not fixed with the Temporary bolts. So it might be a different plate they are
pointing out.
3. Please clarify the function of those Temporary bolts shown in Red in the attached document which are becoming a
difficult issue in execution of Post installation of damper stopper in cavity.
→ Are we understood clearly that: JRE/JICC suggested “the temporary plate (welded) fixing” has to be changed to “the
temporary bolt fixing”, however not only the plates but also the bolts are difficult to remove after the installation in cavity?
Thank you very much!
