ANALYSIS OR RESULT AND DISCUSSION


This chapter analyzes and discusses the result of this study.

This table shows that 85% of the respondents in Lutac National High School

answered that the advantage of mobile phones is to improve knowledge like (aids

in math problem, increase vocabulary, etc.). 20% of them answered that they can

get answers quickly, 25% of respondents answered that mobile internet access,

35% of them answered that it can improve listening comprehension during

discussion through video taking, and 37.5% of the respondents answered easy note

taking.

The table shows that there are 50% of the respondents in Lutac National High

School answered that the disadvantage of mobile phones to the students is it causes

distraction, 70% of them answered that it can cause health problem (mental,

physical, social), 65% of the respondents answered that it can cause social media

addiction, 47.5% of them answered poor study habits, and 42.5% of the

respondents answered expose to wrong educational sources.

This table shows that 70% of the students of Lutac National High School

answered that the causes why students use mobile phone because of

communication, 67.5% of the students answered that it is helpful in study habits,

50% of them answered using educational apps, 30% of them answered that use it

for instant access to the internet, and 55% of the students answered that it is use itt

a tool (such as calculator)

This table shows that 35% of the students answered that the average time

per day they consume is 1-3 hours, 35% of them answered that they consume 5-10

hours on their phone, 32.5 % of the students answered 10-15 hours, 2.5% of them

answered that they consume 15-20 hours, and 5% of the students answered that

they cosume 24 hours.

MATH

1.8% of the students answered that math is extremely important, 52.5% of them

answered that math is very important, 1.8% of the students answered that math is

somewhat important, 0 students answered that math is not important, and 5% of

students answered that math is not at all important.


ENGLISH

12.5% of the students answered that English is extremely important, 47.5%of them

answered that English is very important, 27.5% of the students answered that

English is somewhat important, 5% students answered that English is not

important, and 2.5% of students answered that English is not at all important.

SCIENCE

7.5% of the students answered that Science is extremely important, 57.5% of them

answered that Science is very important, 20% of the students answered that

Science is somewhat important, 5% students answered that Science is not

important, and 1.5% of students answered that Science is not at all important.

ARALING PANLIPUNAN

5% of the students answered that Araling Panlipunan is extremely important,

37.5% of them answered that Araling Panlipunan is very important, 35% of the

students answered that Araling Panlipunan is somewhat important, 25% students

answered that Araling Panlipunan is not important, and 1.5% of students answered

that Araling Panlipunan is not at all important.

FILIPINO
5% of the students answered that Filipino is extremely important, 25% of them

answered that Filipino is very important, 42.5% of the students answered that

Filipino is somewhat important, 25% students answered that Filipino is not

important, and 10% of students answered that Filipino is not at all important.

MAPEH

10% of the students answered that Mapeh is extremely important, 40% of them

answered that Mapeh is very important, 40% of the students answered that Mapeh

is somewhat important, 7.5% students answered that Mapeh is not important, and

10% of students answered that Mapeh is not at all important.

T.L.E

15% of the students answered that T.L.E is extremely important, 40% of them

answered that T.L.E is very important, 20% of the students answered that T.L.E is

somewhat important, 12.5% students answered that T.L.E is not important, and

10% of students answered that T.L.E is not at all important.

E.S.P

20% of the students answered that E.S.P is extremely important, 52.5% of them

answered that E.S.P is very important, 17.5% of the students answered that E.S.P is

somewhat important, 12.5% students answered that T.L.E is not important, and

10% of students answered that T.L.E is not at all important.
