LESSON 1: ANALYSIS
1. How did you identify the different patterns?
Identifying patterns is a crucial skill that can be applied in various aspects of life. Whether it's
recognizing the patterns in nature or analyzing data, identifying patterns can help us make
informed decisions and predictions. In my experience, I have identified different patterns by
observing and analyzing data.
In my personal life, I have also identified patterns by observing behavior. For example, when
someone consistently behaves in a certain way, it becomes easier to predict their actions in
the future.
2. How important to determine geometrical shapes in pursuit to understand
geometry?

Geometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with the study of shapes, sizes, and
positions of objects in space. It is an essential subject that helps us understand the world
around us. In order to comprehend geometry, it is important to determine geometrical
shapes. Geometrical shapes are fundamental building blocks of geometry and understanding
them is crucial for a better understanding of this subject.

APPLICATION:
Direction: Draw two (2) figures that shows translation, rotation, reflection and glide
reflection.

LESSON 2: ANALYSIS
1. How important to determine pattern and designs in pursuit to understand geometry?
Geometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with the study of shapes, sizes, and
positions of objects in space. It is an essential subject that has practical applications in
various fields such as architecture, engineering, and physics. To understand geometry, it is
crucial to determine patterns and designs as they provide a visual representation of the
concepts.
Patterns and designs are important in geometry because they help to identify shapes and
their properties. For instance, by observing the pattern of a triangle, one can determine its
angles and sides. Similarly, by examining the design of a circle, one can calculate its
circumference and diameter.

APPLICATION:
Direction: Create two (2) artistic designs of frieze patterns and rosette patterns
1. Frieze Pattern (any of the frieze groups)
2. Rosette Pattern (cyclic and dihedral)
