Over the years, globalization has gained many connotations pertaining to


progress, development, and integration. On the one hand, some view globalization as a
positive phenomenon. On the other hand, some see it as occurring through and with
regression.

The world’s economies have become more interconnected and free trade has
driven the growth of many developing economies. Technological advances in
transportation and communication mean goods and services move around the world
more easily than ever, everything from shoes and bananas to innovations and ideas.
The mobile phone as an example , it give people access to banking and payment
systems and better access to education and information. Access to technology also
contributed to worldwide income inequality. It complemented skilled workers (who would
thrive in jobs by receiving higher wages) but replaced many unskilled workers(who will
fall behind).

Globalization is a reality. It is changing as a human society develops. It has


happened before and is happening today. We should expect it to happen in the future
and the future of globalization is more difficult to predict.
