INNOVATION TO SOLVE INDUSTRY PAIN POINTS

This is to invite you for a unique opportunity to participate in an initiative aimed at harnessing
your talents to address industry pain points, thus creating opportunitie for dignified work and
entrepreneurship.

About the Initiative:

This is a pilot project, sponsored by the MasterCard Foundation in collaboration with Next Arabia.
It is open exclusively to students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines, whether your belong to a
public or private university or a TVET institution in the Nairobi Metropolitan area. You can
participate individually or in teams of up to 5 members.

Key Details:

Shortlisted participants will be required to attend in–person training and coaching sessions at a
venue that will be communicated. If needed, a modest ground transportation cost to the training
venue will be provided.

How to Participate:

identify the industry pain point that your innovation aims to address. Click on the thematic area
that relates to your invention and follow the instructions on the website to apply. If you have
potential solution for several pain points, you may apply separately for each pain point.
Application deadline is September, 17th 2023. Before submitting your application, please ensure
you have clarified any Intellectual Property concerns with the Legal Officer.
