Day 1

March 4, 2023

Our instructor message us information regarding growing a plant on

Thursday evening, and on Saturday morning, our instructor decided that
we would grow a plant in Santa Cruz, Tagoloan. We weren't at all
confident that our plants would survive during that crucial time due to
heat exposure until we broke them up and planted them close to a river
so we could readily water them. We carefully placed the young mahogany
sapling, making sure it was in the right spot with the right amount of
sunlight and soil drainage. The first rush of embarking on this adventure
was accompanied by a sense of obligation to promote the plant's
development.
Day 40
May 13, 2023

The mahogany plant showed impressive development and displayed

outstanding growth as it started its second month of growth. We chose
to install a tree guard. As you can see, this plant is actually having trouble
growing its leaves. Even though the plant's leaves are damaged, we still
water it with water that is collected from the riverside. Following that,
we took a group photo, which is included in this reflection on developing
a plant. We sincerely hope that this plant continues to develop so that it
can provide us with clean air in the future.
