Dear Vernice,

How are you? I hope you are in the pink. I

would like to tell you about Chinese New Year.

Chinese New Year is a well-known Chinese

festival. Before Chinese New Year, my family
and I are going to clean the house and paint the
walls. My mother will bake some cookies and
cake. We are also going to buy some new
clothes.

On the eve of Chinese New Year, my family

and I are going to get together for reunion
dinner. Lots of delicious dishes will be served
during the dinner.

During Chinese New Year, we are going to

visit our friends and relatives. I am going to
receive ang pows from the elders.
