LEARNING By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

2. Produce a plan or draft of two paragraphs or more and modify this appropriately
in response to feedback
PRE LESSON:
1. Write music, free time activity, favourite colour on the board.
2. Teacher asks pupils to guess what your favourite things are in each category.

LESSON DEVELOPMENT:
Activity 1 (WB Page 11- PART A & B)
1. Teacher reminds students that likes are things you like and dislikes are things you
don’t like.
2. Pupils read the questions and work individually. Pupils complete the questions
about themselves.
ACTIVITY 3. Teacher checks answers as a class. Teacher points out that if you say you are into
something, you like it very much.
Teacher gives instructions to pupils to complete part B, pupils were need to use
the answers from Part A, write an essay about themselves in the space provided.
The essay must be in two paragraphs.
Teacher reminds the pupils to plan their writing as in making notes, and check
their writing if they have included present simple and continuous tense.
4. Teacher monitors the class.

POST-LESSON:

1. Teacher asks the pupils to share their view on today’s lesson. (Thumb up and
down)
2. Pupils complete the given task as a homework.
