Emily:(It’s my first day of work as a private nurse of my patient Mrs. Lopez an
she’s 50 years old according to her daughter named Angel. She has an Alzheimer’s
disease)
Emily: Ma’am good morning I’m your nurse for today my name is Emily.
Mrs Lopez: Hi! Are you my new friend? Can we play?
(I’m shocked! I didn’t know she’s on this stage)
Emily: Ye-yeah of course Mrs. Lopez but you need to eat first and after you take
your medicines then we can play whatever you want.

Angel: Nurse Emily can we talk? Just for a minute
(And then we stay at place where I can also see my patient)
Emily: What about it ma’am?
Angel: First of All her name is Linda when she was at normal stage she doesn’t
want to call her Mrs. Lopez. And I hope you can give the patience all you have
for her. This month you are in 5th nurse and the past 4 nurses they didn’t take
her anymore.
Emily: Don’t worry I already have 2 patients with the same case before so I can
take care of her. Now let me excuse myself ma’am I just need to get her
medicine.

in her life even her telephone number and address she can’t remember. What you
will do is give her the best comfort but without forgetting her medicines. It’s now
time to make action before it’s too late. Middle stage is not easy.

Linda: I don’t want you to clean my room please go!
Maid: But madame its already dirty in your room
