Living with both parents that are entrepreneurs, I have been influenced by both of my

parents that I should become like them as they’re role models. When I was a grade 8 student,
there was a school event that made the grade 8 students sell foods. From this bazaar event, my
class got a lot of profit from it. As a result, I started to realize how interesting and important
business was. During grade 9, the same school event happened again and I really loved it.
From this point, I understanded that opening a business is the best way for me to get money
when I’ve graduated. from university. Therefore, from this point I decided to become a business
man. From these 2 experiences, I gained the knowledges to open food businesses such as to
have good teamwork skills between classmates, marketing strategy, and etc. Sometimes when I
am not busy, I would watch videos about the secrets of successful entrepreneurs such as Elon
Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and etc. I would also watch how my parents do their businesses too as
my dad brings me to Jakarta during semester breaks to see how he managed his businesss.
From grade 9 and 10, I study a subject called “Business Studies”; my scores on this subject
were much higher than other subjects, so obviously business is my passion especially I got A on
my IGCSE Business Studies.

Having a high school diploma from Xin Zhong School and the experiences of seling foods
together with my class from grade 8,9, and 12, especially during grade 12 as my class does not
only sell foods but also open games for free and the bazaar was held for a week, unlike during
grade 8 and 9, which were held only a day. The longer period of bazaar and opening another
type of business gave me the knowlegde to compete with other business and how business
should have added value on their products to make their products special compared to the
competitors. During grade 12 too, there’s a new subject called Innovation&Entrepreneurship, I
learned how to open a company. As I am interested to open my own company, this subject
helps me to develop my creativity and teamwork skills.

I have learned both Chinese and English in school since grade 1, my Chinese level is still
intermediate, while my English is quite fluent. There are many reasons why I learned Chinese
as I really love China and it’s culture. Therefore, I wanted to study the Chinese language, so that
I can learn more about China’s culture. Especially China’s economy is getting bigger and is
nearly number 1 then, I am sure learning Chinese will helps the growth of my business as
someday it will be a global language. On other hand, I learned English because it’s the current
global language as it opened the doors for me to interact with foreign people.

One of the ways to learn the advanced theory regarding business and the real practical
itself are through higher education. After some research, I found out that studying in AEBS will
definitely help me to transform my life because it’s the only business school that combines the
experience of Chinese and French learning methods, where I can understand both the business
environment of China and Europe . Considering the fact that it combines the curriculum from
one of the “Double First Class” University and the 2nd rank business school in France, which
makes the courses very essential to survive in current business world. The courses provided me
to have a trillingual ability and the especially 1 of the specialiazations, which is Al&Business
matches the needs of the advancing technology in this business world. AEBS have a unique
mentor system where there are both mentors 1 for enterprise and academic for each student.
Certainly, this helps me to be able succeed in both school and career.

After I finish my bachelor’s degree, I have a plan to work in France to become an

Innovation Consultant in Carrefour to gain several work experiences. After that, I am planning to
work in Alibaba as a business development manager since Alibaba is a worldwide famous
e-commerce and retail company that I really wanted to work due to my huge interest towards
Alibaba since it uses both advanced technology and business at the same time to become a
unicorn company. The reason that I wanted to be a business development manager is I am very
keen on the sales strategies particularly I get the chance to use my knowledge from AEBS to
apply the knowledge from the specialization of Al & Business given that Alibaba is a Al company
too. After another several years, I plan to start my own technology company.
