I am writing to express my interest in the Sports marketing industry. I am a senior at Coastal
Carolina University (CCU) and will graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Art in
Communication as well as a sport studies minor.
As you will note in my attached resume, I am majoring in Communication with a concentration
in Sport and have developed strong skills in this area over the past four years. Currently, I am a
Division 1 athlete at CCU. Being an athlete has given me experience with time management,
hard work, and many other skills that will lead me to be successful in my career. In addition, I
have worked with a professional soccer team in marketing and operations in Greenville, South
Carolina this past summer. Working with the soccer team all summer provided me with
knowledge on marketing from a sport perspective which would help me greatly with this
position.
