Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the Director of On-Campus Recruiting position within the
University of Florida, which I heard about through Coastal Carolina University’s JOBLink. I am a
sophomore at Coastal Carolina University (CCU) and will graduate in May 2026 with a Bachelor of
Science in Recreation and Sport Management.

As you will note in my attached resume, I am majoring in Recreation and Sport Management with a
concentration in Coaching and have developed strong skills in this area over the past four years.
Currently, I am employed as a student worker within CCU’s University Academic Advising, as well as a
recruiting intern with the Coastal Carolina Football team. These positions have given me experience in
collegiate recreation facilities and operations, which is essential to a career in recreation and sport
management. Prior to my positions at CCU, I held several part-time positions in customer service and
sales. Most recently, I worked at the Woodhouse Day Spa, where I provided excellent customer service,
managed the daily schedule, and restocked the boutique. Finally, I have been actively involved on
campus by being a part of several organizations, one including the CCU Recreation and Sport
Management Association. My combined academic, extracurricular and work experiences have enabled
me to develop outstanding analytical, interpersonal, financial, and leadership skills, which I believe
would be an asset to the recruiting team at the University of Florida.
