Verbs Then, ask the students to choose an animal they would like to be.
Animals Demonstrate the activity by telling the students that you are going
to describe your chosen animal and they have to guess what
animal it is.

Preparation
Have the students guess the animal and then reveal the answer
Make two copies of the (tiger).
worksheet for each
student. Tell the students that they are going to describe their animal in
the same way. Give each student a copy of the worksheet. Tell the
students to keep their worksheet secret at all times.
Level
Students then write sentences on the first line about their animal
Elementary (A1-A2)
using verbs and adverbs of manner. Students write as if they are
the animal using the first person.
Time
Next, divide the students into pairs.
30 minutes
Students take it in turns to read out their sentences to their
partner. Their partner's task is to guess the animal from the
description. Have the students repeat this process with several
different partners.
When everyone has finished, take the worksheets back and mix
them up. Students then take it in turns to come to the front of the
class and read out a classmate's sentences. The other students
guess who the sentences are about.
