Solids Control, Drilling Waste Management & Environmental Solution Specialist
Date: September 2013 to June 2016.

General Drilling Concepts:
➢ Strong Knowledge regarding drilling rig types, rig components, rig component functions,
drilling operations (i.e. drilling, tripping pipe, running casing, cementing, completions, etc.)
and the drilling fluids circulation system.
➢ Strong Knowledge regarding the drilling fluid system (i.e. drilling mud, it’s components, and
each components function), the impact of low gravity solids (LGS), and primary techniques
and systems used for drilling waste management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
➢ Traveled to rig locations for setting-up, tearing-down, monitoring and maintaining centrifuges
and processing related equipment.
➢ Rig up and rig down of solids control equipment’s offered by company at client sites (i.e.
centrifuges, hi g dryer shakers, vertical cutting dryers, cuttings corral units, auger screw
conveyers, solids control pumps, mud cooling units, mud chiller units, filtration units, vacuum
systems, desander, desilter, agitator, mixing systems, etc.)
➢ Safely startup & shutdown to solids control equipment’s.

➢ Supervised daily operations and maintenance of all solids control equipment.

Centrifuges (VFD & FHD):


➢ Well working experience to running ALFA Laval, GN (variable frequency drive), CSI and
Derrick (full hydraulic drive) centrifuges at rig locations.
➢ Operating centrifuges to solids removal and barite recovery from the drilling fluid (WBM and
OBM)
➢ Good knowledge regarding centrifuge equipment properties (i.e. G-force, differential, GPM
maximum, etc.)
➢ Well working experience of advanced troubleshooting or extraordinary maintenance on
centrifuges (i.e. rebuild rotating assembly, rebuild hydraulic drive, rebuild gearbox, gearbox
oil change, replace bearings, greasing, etc.)
➢ Able to perform all primary centrifuge calculations (i.e. G-force, differential, discharge rate,
weight differential and retention time)
➢ Strong knowledge regarding the centrifuge operation when using weighted or un-weighted
drilling fluid, and the impact on the drilling fluid system when centrifuge adjustments are
performed.
Solids Control Pumps:
➢ Well working experience of solids control pump installation, operation and knowledge
regarding solids control pump equipment properties (i.e. GPM, power required, drive type,
etc.)
➢ Advanced troubleshooting or extraordinary maintenance on solids control pumps (i.e.
replace router stator, rebuild gearbox, gearbox oil change, replace rubber coupling, replace
impeller, replace diaphragm, rebuild piston, shaft, etc.)

Hi G Dryer Shaker
➢ Well working experience to installation, operation and uninstallation of CDFR systems at rig
locations.
➢ Hi g dryer shakers adjustments (i.e. deck angle, fluid coverage, motion type, fluid
distribution, angle of inclination, cleaning practices, etc.) to optimize the operational
efficiency of the equipment.
➢ Advanced troubleshooting or extraordinary maintenance on hi g dryer shakers (i.e. change
out motors, replace worn screen supports, electrical components, etc.)
➢ Maintain, change and/or repair hi g dryer screens on-the-job as well as identify different
screen failure types.
Vertical Cutting Dryer:
➢ Well working experience to installation, operation and uninstallation of vertical cutting dryer
at rig locations.
➢ Good knowledge regarding vertical cutting dryer equipment properties (i.e. G-force, differential,
tons per hour, etc.), operation, adjustment, troubleshooting, and lubrication system flow.
Auger Screw Conveyer:
➢ Well working experience to installation, operation and uninstallation of auger screw
conveyer systems inclined and declined at rig locations.
➢ Advanced troubleshooting or extraordinary maintenance on auger screw conveyors (i.e.
rebuild gearbox, gearbox oil change, greasing, replace bearing and bushes, etc.)

Filtration Units:
➢ Well working experience to installation, operation and uninstallation of filtration unit at rig
locations.
➢ Filter different brine (i.e. CaCl2, NaCl, KCL, etc.)

➢ Strong knowledge TDS, TSS & NTU test.

➢ Advanced troubleshooting or extraordinary maintenance on filtration units (i.e. fixing


cartridge, bag filters and cleaning etc.
Cutting Re-Injection
Well working experience to operation and troubleshooting of any location specific equipment
(i.e. cutting re-injection, high pressure pumps, etc.)
Mud Cooling Systems:
➢ Well working experience to installation, operation and uninstallation of mud cooling units at
rig locations.
➢ Advanced troubleshooting or extraordinary maintenance on mud cooling units (i.e.
glycol/water change, replace flanch and hammer union, trace system faults, etc.)
Reports & Communications:
➢ Well working experience to maintaining specified rheological properties within drilling fluid.

➢ Working closely with the on-site company representative and building a strong working
relationship with them using excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
➢ Strong knowledge of analyzing and data collection on solids control equipment’s through
retort analysis, improving performance and feedback to office via reports.
