Following the consultative meeting held on 15 th February, 2023, after we had written to your
office seeking a time extension, the completion time was set at 30th April, 2023.

We are glad to report that tremendous progress towards completion has been registered and we
are now towards the tail end of the project.

The major work items in progress are external paint work and precast paving block (cabro)
laying. Despite having been well captured in our work plan, these activities have been adversely
affected by the ongoing heavy rains in the past 6weeks resulting in slowed execution.
With the rains still eminent, cognizant of the fact that the completion date is drawing closer, we
would like to indicate that we may not hand over the project by the initially agreed date.
We therefore request for a 5weeks time extension from 30th April, 2023. We commit to work
round the clock to complete the affected works and hand over on or before 30th of June, 2023.
Attached find a mini program and method statement of remaining works, meteorological data for
Emali region in the past two months and pictures showing how the rain impacted on the project
external works.
