❖ MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES

• Maintenance planning of static and rotary equipment, along with safety precautions for concerned
chemicals: H2SO4, HCl, Hydrogen gas, Chlorine gas, Liquid Bromine & Caustic soda.
• Using SAP (PM and MM module) material inventory management through indent raising, purchase
order follow up, material inspection, material issue and return, keeping history of job.
• Distribution of jobs and handling of man power.
• Coordination with all other departments in regular as well as critical job for lowering downtime during
shutdown and regular preventive maintenance.
• Routine jobs like Valves repair & reconditioning job, piping repair action is carried out with taking
care of proper MOC.
• Supervise and mobilise resource for shutdown jobs as per plant and ensure shutdown jobs execution
as per Schedule.
• Prioritizing jobs to be done in the general shift as well as in shift duty and allotting work to technician
in the department and guiding / supporting technicians on day to day technical issues.
• Monitoring tools and maintaining 5S for the allotted region.

• Compressor: Hydrogen (Reciprocating), Chlorine (Acid ring - Centrifugal), Freon(screw), Air(screw).

• Others: Hcl furnace, Liquification unit of cl2, Bullet tanks, EOT cranes, Pressure vessels, columns, Flaker
drum,Coveyor belts, cooling towers, R.V.D.F, Shell and tube heat exchangers, P.H.E, Agitators, Tanks,
Piping and Valves and Repairing work.
