GENERAL NOTICE

Dear Residents,

The exterior painting of the building will commence from the month of January 2021. The process will
take approximately three to four months. We seek your support and cooperation during this process. As
you are aware, the painting process may cause inconvenience to all of us but we are trying to plan in
advance to minimize the inconvenience.

The exterior painting will not only enhance the aesthetics of the building but also add years to the life of
the building by strengthening it. As discussed with the agency, the cracks, leakages and seepages to be
addressed/repaired in the first phase. Plumber has already done the survey of most of the flats this
week to find out any leakage in balcony, wash area and washrooms. Basis the feedback received from
the plumber, we need to repair/fix/rectify leakages/seepages in the balcony/washroom/wash areas.
This is for the larger interest and as exterior painting is once in a decade project, we need to be extra
careful and ensure that all the existing leakages are fixed before the painting process begins. The
actionable points for the residents and society are as follows:

1. Jali (Anti) of drain in the balcony of all the rooms (Bedrooms and Living room) to be replaced if
damaged and waterproofing has also to be done. (Cost to be borne by the society)

2. AC drainage point- Wherever Flexible pipe is installed for drainage, the same to be replaced with
PVC pipe. (Cost to be borne by the respective resident)

3. Leakage in wash room to be fixed e.g flush, flooring joints or any other leaking points which
needs to be sealed (Respective resident has to bear the cost)

4. Wash area draining Jali and floor joints to be sealed (Cost to be borne by the respective
resident)

We need to complete the same for all the flats before 15th Jan 2021. We shall appoint a single plumber
who will do all the work, so that the same would be cost effective and all the repair work completed on
time. Arvind (Society manager) will coordinate with you and plumber for hassle free completion of all
the plumbing work. The cost of the repair work will be intimated to you in advance, wherever the same
has to be borne by you.

In case of wash room where flooring joints to be sealed or where waterproofing has to be done, the
wash room or that particular area has to be kept dry for 10 to 12 hours. So the washroom repairing will
be scheduled accordingly. Request you to adhere to the guidelines and plan accordingly.

As we all know, the standardized look of the elevation will enhance the aesthetics of the building. The
details of the same will be intimated you as the painting agency, colour, design and products get
finalized in the before 15th Jan 2021.

As the painting of balconies and grills to be done, any fixed or rigid structures including pigeon nets
installed outside the grill will be have to be removed before the painting. We shall send a detailed notice
in the coming weeks.

Request your cooperation in the above mentioned points for smooth completion of the exterior painting
of the building.
