METHOD:

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The cell cycle is a process that happens in a cell that ends up dividing it into two new cells. There are two
main parts of the cell cycle: interphase and mitosis.

Mitosis is a special part of the cell cycle where a cell's nucleus splits into two identical nuclei with the
same number of chromosomes. This process is very important because it makes sure that the new cells
have the right amount of genetic material.

While mitosis is only one part of the cell cycle, the whole cycle is important for a cell's growth and DNA
replication.

Mitosis is super important for living things because it helps with tissue growth and repair. It also makes
sure that the new cells have the same genetic information as the original cell. Without mitosis, living
things wouldn't be able to grow or repair their tissues, and they wouldn't be able to pass on their genetic
information to the next generation.
