INFORMATION BEFORE STAY

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your commitment – it is time for more information about your stay in
Garbicz. You confirmed your support by paying the deposit. We received it.

We are more than excited for your contribution to the creation of our festival. Thank you
for your time and effort to make our festival such a beautiful gathering. We are doing our
best to provide you with the most helpful supporter care possible. We would like to ask
you for understanding if things run a little differently than planned and try to keep a
flexible mindset. Please read the following information carefully - they are crucial to us to
create a harmonious and respectful space at beautiful Garbicz so we can have an
amazing time together. Here are a few guidelines we kindly ask you to follow:

Transportation:

Please keep in mind to organize your trip to and from Garbicz yourself. Coming from
Berlin it is possible to take the train to Rzepin and from there share a Taxi to Garbicz
(Taxi number +48 693 750 300). Alternatively you can also check Blabla Car for
cheap shared rides. Please join our Telegram group "Garbicz Support Exchange" to get in
contact with other Garbicz community members and organize the trip together.
Please let our EHA members in this group know if you need transportation from Rzepin.
Do this at least 2, but preferably 4 days before your arrival date. This will give us time to
organize this for you.

Remember that the DB €49.00 ticket is available and can take you as far as Frankfurt
(Oder). So if you already have this, you just need to buy the ticket from FF(O) to Rzepin,
which is about two stops past the German-Polish border

Please fill out all the required fields and select the "Supporter" option
at the “Are you a…?” Section:

This is important otherwise our security guard won't let you pass on site.
!! be aware that registering in airtable is absolutely necessary for us to know that you
were on site and to send out your festival ticket !! NO registration NO festival ticket

We invite you to check-in at a decent time on your arrival Sunday (between 10am and
6pm). We don’t offer late check-in so your welcome person might be asleep otherwise.

Keep in mind that you will still be working on your departure Saturday, so feel free to
leave Garbicz Saturday night or sunday. You are very welcome to stay Sunday after your
support. Any earlier departure will clash with your shifts.

Never been to Garbicz? We've attached a map of Garbicz Land. Find your contact EHA
member Adrian at the top floor of the main building.

The Embassy is marked in red, for later questions during festival.

Check-in and -out:

Please contact our EHA-member on site: Adrian, if he hasn’t already picked you up from
Rzepin. He will be your contact person on site, also for any urgent questions.

Please make sure to check out in person with Adrian before you leave! Otherwise
your ticket for the festival may be questioned.

Commitment:
Support for one week, arrival on sunday, work starting on monday with
a commitment for the whole week. The working hours will be 8 hours a day starting 9
a.m./ 10 a.m. Of course these 8 hours will be paused in between for one hour lunch
break. You will be working from Monday until including Saturday by 5.00 / 6.00 p.m.. As
you will be helping and supporting our crew on the festival ground your tasks mainly will
include physical outdoor work.

Conditions:

● 3 delicious meals per day during your time of support (Monday-Saturday)

● Your ticket to Garbicz Festival 2023 , August 2nd. - 7th
● 100 € consumption for drinks during festival (non refundable)

Catering:

Our crew kitchen is still organized in the circle of the people being on-site. Adrian and
your head will talk through the catering with you upon your arrival. We will provide the
ingredients and the food for this of course.

Please be aware that we only provide catering during your time of support. If you arrive
early on Sunday you need to organize your own food. Please bring your own dishes
and cutlery for environmental reasons.

What to bring:

● Suitable clothes and shoes for your shifts

● Mosquito repellent
● Swimsuits and pants – no nude swimming allowed, please respect!
● DIY camping – bring your own gear:
a tent
a warm (!) sleeping bag, pillow, another blanket (nights are
spring-wise a bit fresh, still)
a handy camping light
● Reusable cutlery and plates
● a towel – What a feeling to get fresh and bubbly after a day of work! We
recommend bringing your own towel to Garbicz because we don’t provide any.
● Motivated spirit and anything what makes you feel cozy

Work Rules:

● Social and respectful behavior

● Show up sober to your shifts

Camping and vehicles:

● You can drive your Campervan on site for your time of support, if your support
ends before 21.07.2023. It must be removed after your support, otherwise we
have to remove it at your costs.
● You can camp at the advised spaces. Adrian will tell you where these will be.
● If you come by Campervan please notice you only can use the campervan during
festival, if you purchased a Campervan ticket.
● Campervan tickets are available at our online ticket area
● No cars are allowed on the festival ground from 21.07.23 onwards
We are guests in Poland:

There’s a polish starter dictionary attached. We invite you to keep a polite attitude -
dziȩkuję (thank you)

Environment:

We encourage aware and considerate behavior with our surroundings, to come together
in harmony and respect for each other and nature. Since our festival site is part of a
natural reserve, we expect extremely conscious treatment of the environment. We invite
everyone to take responsibility for protecting nature by disposing of cigarettes
(especially filters) and trash in pocket ashtrays and bins. Also, those of others if you spot
anything to pick up. Please pay attention entering the lake without any skin or facial
products and remember that the lake is not a toilet. Please watch out to leave your
campsite clean and fully deconstructed. Let’s remember that we are nature and nature is
us.

What's next:

After completing all your shifts we will release your festival ticket and the above listed
credentials (conditions). Please be aware that we will be pretty busy the coming months
and hold back from sending us any reminder emails. Be assured that you are in our
databank and will receive your festival ticket immediately before the festival. Only if you
have not received your ticket two days before the festival feel free to send us an email to
supporter@garbiczfestival.com or to your Embassy contact person.

Bassliner during festival:

Your Bassliner ticket to the festival (after your support) needs to be booked and paid on
your own. If you have problems finding the fitting Busticket-slot, let us know. We will try
to find a solution. Slots will be published soon via Bassliner.

Covid or any other injuries/ health issues:

● If you don't feel well stay at home

● Please take a (self) test before you come to the Garbicz grounds
● Tip for our Berliners: It is still for free to do a Bürgertest in the city
● When you feel sick on site, please let us know! Reach out Adrian on site or
Bobby through Bobby@garbiczfestival.com or Bobby on Signal (see contact in
Garbicz exchange group on signal)

We take your health seriously.

Dog policy:

Unfortunately your dog can’t join you at Garbicz. If you bring your dog you will be
immediately sent home to bring your do to silent and chill grounds. ☹

Selling your festival ticket:

Don’t worry - if you have already purchased a festival ticket, we encourage you to use
our Garbicz ticket swap to sell your ticket which will open soon
