2. Classroom language moment Questions to start with:

Prepositions: T gives instructions regarding students` position. “Go behind


the chair.” “Go in front of the chair.” “Go next to the chair.” “ Go under/ on
the chair”

3. Theme activities Day 1

Structure: “Where is my…?”

1. T brings a box with different toys. One kid will choose 4 – 5 toys and
offer them to his colleagues. The kid will go out of the room and the
other colleagues have to put the toys somewhere in the room. When
the kid is invited back, he has to ask “Where is my car?” and the
colleague who had the car has to answer with prepositions “It`s
under the table.” And so on until he discovers all the toys. Then
another kid will do the same drill: choose toys, offers them to her
colleagues and ask questions about each toy.

Day 2
Revision: furniture

1. Students re playing mime game: One by one Ss will come in front. T


shows them a furniture Fc and they have to mime the object or how
they use that object. The other Ss have to guess the furniture item.
2. T brings the picture for Story 3. T asks questions about animals in the
story and other objects. T asks the question: “What bath toys have
you got?” T can offer some examples.
3. Ss listen to the story and repeat the lines.
4. Ss do the worksheet number 3 – cut / stick and present your room

Day 3

Project based lesson

1. T prepares boxes (one for each child) or cardboard for houses shape.
Ss will also receive recyclable materials, pencils and glue, to build the
interior of their own houses. While they are working, the teacher can
ask them questions regarding the objects that they are creating. First
step is to decide the rooms and then to add furniture.
2. T will keep all the materials needed and will encourage them to use
as much English as they can for exchanging materials and asking for
new materials (colours / numbers / sizes…etc)
3. Even if the projects are not finished, Ss can use the structure “This is
my house.” And there will be time for it next day.
Day 4

Revision: rooms, objects, prepositions


Structures: “There is a….”
1. Ss can finish their projects and one by one they can come in front
and present them by naming each room + prepositions “The kitchen
is next to the living room” and by using the structures “There is a…
sofa / painting / TV”
2. The other Ss can also ask questions “What is this?” The interaction is
encouraged and modeled with the right English structures”

Day 5

Letters j / k / l

1. Revise the songs from the previous week, by using the pictures and
the movements from the songs.

2. Bring images with elements that start with one of the 3 sounds and
spread them on the floor. Repeat them all together and on your
count to 3 they have to organize the images in 3 categories. You can
also have the images with the 3 sounds on the floor, so they know
where to put the image.
Examples of images: jar, jam, jacket, jelly, juice, key, kite, king, kids,
lion, lemon, leaves, lamp, ladybug
3. Do the worksheet 10 – associate sound with the image, say the name
of the item and draw the object.
