I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. Identify the parts of a system unit;
b. Perform the proper procedure in PC disassemble and assemble; and
c. Appreciate the significance of knowing proper procedure in PC disassembly and as-
sembly.

B. Motivation
Instruction: The teacher will post a picture on the screen, and the students will have to
answer what it is all about and what they have observed in the picture. This exercise
is connected to what we are going to discuss.
C. Lesson Proper
 Show gallery of pictures of the parts of the system unit. Ask students to
identify each part.
 The students will disassemble and assemble the system units simultane-
ously with teacher’s discussion and confirmation of the system unit parts
identified by the students using the proper procedure.
D. Application
Directions: We have four (4) groups. Each group will perform PC disassembly and
assembly.
E. Generalization
Building a PC will save you money in the long run, because you will likely not need
to pay a technician to repair your components or your computer system units.

The students will be graded based on their performance (activity) using the criteria below.
