What is Physical Fitness?

Physical Fitness is the ability of an


individual to perform daily activities without
getting exhausted and can still perform extra
task with alertness.
One’s ability to execute daily
activities with optimal
performance, endurance, and
strength with the management
of diseases, fatigue and stress.

Are related to how well the systems of
your body work.
It is primarily associated with disease
prevention and functional health.
Participating in regular health-related
fitness helps you control your weight,
prevents diseases and illness, improves
your mood, boosts energy, and promotes
better sleep.

 Body Composition:

 The ratio of body fat to lean body tissue,


including muscle, bone, water, and
connective tissue such as ligaments,
cartilage, and tendons.

activities that involve lifting,


pushing, or jumping and
muscular endurance to perform
such activities repeatedly
 Give you power to perform daily

activities without being fatigued;

fewer back problems

Definition: It pertains to the ability of a person
to respond quickly to stimulus.
 Basically, how quickly you can react to
something.
 Anticipation of a stimulus can also help
reaction timing.
