Literacy Students will continue to write/draw in their

stamina. The students have been reading for
me and it’s great to see so many of them
using picture clues to “read” their books. In
phonics we will learn/review the sounds of
letters, m, a and t.
Sight Words: in, am, did, at, it
writing journals. We will discuss WOW
pictures and ways to add detail to our
drawings. As a class we will discuss topics to
write about. Students who can write
words/letters will be encouraged to do so.

Theme- Feelings

Math
This week we will continue our work with
numbers, practicing proper number formation.
We will continue our work with categories and
classifying.

We will discuss our feelings and share

choices we may make when we are feeling a
particular way. We will also discuss how to
help people when they are not feeling their
best.
Suggested homework: Can your child write their name and identify all the letters in their
name. Practice both at home as needed. We will also begin working on proper number
formation.
