It is common for a lot of people to be fond of traveling to different places anywhere

around the Philippines. We are inspired to see, taste, and try new things when we travel because

it forces us out of our comfort zones. It continuously tests our ability not only to adapt to and

explore new environments, but also to interact with other people, welcome new experiences as

they arrive, and share them with friends and loved ones. Travel offers us the chance to

experience with an open heart and an open mind, whether you're looking for adrenaline and non-

stop activity or unapologetic staycations and the utmost in relaxation. Going to different places

should have a purpose. It ought to energize and uplift us, restore and ground us, instruct and test

us, and most importantly, it ought to humble us. Travel provides us with our most memorable

experiences, priceless lessons that we can choose to pass on to others, and our best stories. It

broadens our horizons, teaches us about ourselves and one another, and, like a reset button, it

forces us to refocus on what matters.

I, myself love going to different places, I am very adventurous and I love to discover

different places as well as things that can be seen everywhere. I can say that traveling is one of

my hobbies even though I can’t easily go to places any time I want because of my strict parents,

still I always keep in mind that I can still go wherever I want at the right time. For me, travel is a

way of life. I was born into a travel-obsessed family. I am at my happiest when I travel to places

especially if it is new to my eyes, I feel like I am so satisfied with what I see and experience, and

I would enjoy that moment in my life with the very important people in my life that I treasure the

most. I have my reasons why I would rather spend my time traveling than staying at home, I

want to travel to learn many things because it enriches the mind and educates us far beyond any

textbook or travel guide, to escape reality once in a while which give us the absolute freedom by

being present, we can be anybody, travel anywhere, and do anything, to relax, to explore, to eat

different kinds of food and to live out my bucket list dreams.

As I travel to one of the historical places here in the Philippines which is known to be as

“Walled City” or the “Intramuros” located south of the Pasig River and east of Manila Bay,

Manila City which was built by the Spaniards. Intramuros is a place rich in history and culture.

With its cobbled streets and preserved architecture dated hundreds of years ago, it will have you

second-guessing whether you are still in the Philippines or not. I went there last August 2022

together with my cousins, as we arrived there my first reaction is I was totally amazed and

captivated by everything I saw at the entrance while entering the place. The first thing we do is

we entered the Minor Basilica and Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception or

more popularly known as the Manila Cathedral is located in front of the Plaza Roma, as far as I

remembered it was one the most beautiful churches I have seen in my entire life, we hired a cab

that will tour us around the whole place in which the driver of the cab tells us more about the

history of the place, the name of the buildings we are passing through and former name of the

places. They brought us to distinct places that truly amazed us (the places we visited are; Plaza

Roma, Plaza De Santa Isabel, Casa Manila, San Agustin Church, and Fort Santiago) at that

moment I can’t even explain what I feel, no words can describe my emotions. It’s just that I am

very grateful to my parents because they made sure that our trip will be more convenient and

made sure that we get there safely.

Every people in the world has a different perspective on life, others take pleasure in

different places while others prefer staying at home. Spending time going to places isn’t bad, in

fact, it is way better than just staying all day at home doing nothing and working nonstop,

sometimes it offers us fresh insights. It gives a fresh perspective on life, and how you spend your

time. Traveling allows us to see other cultures, meet new people, learn new things, go on

experiences (both good and terrible), and perhaps even rediscover our purpose in life. It extends

us to thrill and adventure. We are fascinated by all the unusual things that are all around us when

we enter a new place or setting. We neglect jobs, our studies, and all of our other obligations. We

go to change our routine and escape from our ordinary life.

Life is all about experiences. And unlike material things, experiences stay with us no

matter where we go. Finding ways to make the most of our life experiences is a challenge we

face daily. As human beings, we like to put value on the things we pursue. We like to feel that

what we are doing has meaning. This purpose is important to our well-being as it’s from those

experiences in life that we learn and grow. Pursuing what we love brings us invaluable life

lessons about ourselves and the world around us.

One day, my family and I visited one of the well-known attractions in our community,

Poctoy White Beach. We brought a ton of food to share with our entire family and to give to

others. Everyone experienced love as a family. Except for the exception of the devout, no one

can compare each family member to another other. The sands here are fine and white, like the

love we have for one another. Even if our family is imperfect, everyone has a pure and clean

heart, just like this place's water. As many have predicted, the area is calm, and the locals are

modest and kind to others because they don't believe Even though our family is imperfect,

everyone has a pure and clean heart. The water here is very clean, just like our hearts. As many

have predicted, the area is calm, and the locals are kind and humble since they consider others'

needs before their own.

I can only describe this place as serene and lovely since nobody is arguing and it is

completely quiet. And this location is virtually ideal because it combines all the qualities you

seek in one place, including pure water, calm surroundings, and fresh air. I'm thankful for this

location since it brought my family closer together and provided us with a unique experience that

will never be matched.

However, there is trash adjacent to the beach that has to be cleared because it is bad for

the environment. Although the merchandise is pretty pricey here, I am aware that there is a valid

reason for this. Therefore, I hope that the beach's litter will also be cleaned up and eliminated

when that day comes. Even if the location you visit isn't ideal, what matters is the unforgettable

experiences you have there.
