A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 01,

SERIES OF 2022, OF BARANGAY MAHAYAHAY, THIS MUNICIPALITY, ENTITLED:
“AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING THE BARANGAY TAX CODE OF BARANGAY
MAHAYAHAY, LUPON, DAVAO ORIENTAL, FOR COLLECTING FEES AND
CHARGES ON THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATIONS, CLEARANCES, FILING
FEES AND SIMILAR SERVICES RENDERED BY THE BARANGAY.”

WHEREAS, the aforementioned Barangay Ordinance of Mahayahay, Lupon,

Davao Oriental was submitted to this august body for review in accordance with Article
Three Section 447 (a) (1) (i) of the Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the
Local Government Code of 1991;

WHEREAS, after a thorough review of the said ordinance, this august body
found the same to be in compliance with the provisions of the LGC of 1991 and its
Implementing Rules and Regulations;

WHEREAS, the Committee on Rules & Privileges, Laws & Ordinances, thru its
Chairperson Honorable Capistrano “Dennis” V. Roflo, Jr., recommended to this august
body to confirm the approval of the aforementioned Barangay Ordinance of Mahayahay,
this municipality;

WHEREFORE, premises considered the author prays for the approval of this
resolution.
