RESOLUTION IN THE SOLICITATION FOR BULIG MO, BULIG KO PARA SA IKAMAYAD

IT BARYO

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council will solicit in kind materials for the implementation of
Bayanihan System through free labor in the construction of toilet identified households;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council will determine the identified donors thus promoting the
public and private partnership in the implementation of Zero Open Defecation;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council will give Certificate of Recognition to those who
contributed and supported (in kind) the implementation of Zero Open Defecation;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of the Resolution to the Office of Department of

Health, Province and Region VI.

RESOLUTION OF BARANGAY ON SUPPORTING ZERO OPEN DEFECATION (ZOD) OF

THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

WHEREAS, the ZOD Program is presently being promoted by the DOH and other partner
agencies in the country such as the UNICEF, World Bank Water Sanitation Program in order to sustain
the National Sanitation Plan at least 60% of all Barangays have declared ZOD status;

WHEREAS, the Barangay is responsible to the community on the proper disposal of waste
through legislative support, advocacy and networking;

WHEREAS, the Barangay will allocate specific fund to support the sustainability of Zero Open
Defecation Status;

WHEREAS, the Barangay will achieve Zero Open Defecation Status through the verification
and certification to be conducted by Muicipal Zero Open Defecation Team;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to finish copies of the Resolution to the Office of the Department of
Health Province and Region VI.

RESOLUTION ON THE SUBMISSION OF LETTER OF INTENT

WHEREAS, the Barangay will send Letter of Intent for the Municipal Zero Open Defecation
Verification Team to attach Appendix A and Appendix B and status achieved of the Barangay ZOD;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Local Leaders and Barangay Sanitation Inspectors ensure that the
Zero Open Defecation had been pre-assessed;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council will send communication to the concerned agencies in the
actual ocular inspection and verification;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of the Resolution to the Office of the Department
of Health Province and Region VI.

RESOLUTION OF BARANGAY TO ADOPT A HOUSEHOLD ON SANITATION PROGRAM

WHEREAS, adopt a team of the Barangay is a group of people in the community responsible
to educate, promote and advocate their constituents to sustain and improve the health and well-being of
the people of Barangay Poblacion;

WHEREAS, the team will monitor the barangay to sustain the Zero Open Defecation;

WHEREAS, the team will coordinate to the Barangay Council to promote measures in the
implementation of Zero Open Defecation;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council recognizes the adopt a household team;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copes of the Resolution to the Office of the Department of
Health Province and Region VI.
