ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA 2023

The Department of Education (DepEd) in collaboration with various stakeholders

embarked on a journey to ensure the successful reopening of schools through the "Oplan
Balik Eskwela" initiative. This report provides a comprehensive narrative of the meticulous
planning, dedicated efforts, and remarkable accomplishments that paved the way for a
seamless transition back to school for our students and educators.
One of the foremost concerns was the readiness of school infrastructure. Dilapidated
classrooms, broken furniture, and outdated facilities were identified and targeted for
improvement. Repair and renovation teams worked tirelessly to ensure that each classroom
provided a conducive environment for learning. The transformation was awe-inspiring as
fresh coats of paint, repaired desks, and enhanced facilities greeted students on their return.
The heart of Oplan Balik Eskwela lies in community participation. Parents, local
government units, and community organizations came together to support the reopening of
schools. Volunteers contributed countless hours to assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and
preparing classrooms. Donations poured in, ranging from school supplies to personal
hygiene kits, demonstrating the unity of our communities.
The accomplishments of Oplan Balik Eskwela are a testament to the resilience of the
Filipino spirit.Classrooms were restored, teachers were trained, learners received the school
supplies school bag and shoes from the stakeholders, DPWH-Batangas. The impact extended
beyond the classroom, fostering a sense of community and unity.
Oplan Balik Eskwela: DepEd Opening and Preparation for Classes was a resounding
success, thanks to the dedication and commitment of all involved. The reopening of schools,
despite the challenges, stands as a testament to the Filipino spirit of bayanihan. With the
lessons learned and the collective resolve of our communities, we are ready to provide our
learners with the education they deserve.
